David Rowland
INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
David Rowland was named interim chief executive officer of Accenture on January 11, 2019. In this role, David serves on the board of directors and leads Accenture's Global Management Committee.
Prior to being named interim CEO, David served for more than five years as Accenture’s chief financial officer with responsibility for the company’s corporate controllership, treasury, tax, investor relations, financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and analysis, and corporate development functions.
David previously served on the board and as Audit Committee chair for Avanade, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft.
Earlier in his career with the company, David held a number of finance leadership positions, including senior vice president—Finance, with responsibility for the company's Finance Operations organization, which included financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and analysis and the global finance directors supporting the company’s operating groups and businesses. During this time, he was a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and chaired Accenture’s Operations Council consisting of all group operating officers and other corporate leaders. He was also finance director for Accenture's two largest operating groups, Communications & High Tech and Products.
David began his career with Accenture in 1983 in the Consulting group and spent several years serving clients across a variety of industries. He has served on a number of management committees and has also played significant leadership roles in a number of company-wide initiatives.
Throughout his professional career, David has served on several civic and charitable boards. He is currently Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was recognized among the top CFOs in the Payments, Processors & IT Services sector by Institutional Investor from 2015 through 2019 including as Best CFO on the “2016 All-America Executive Team,” ranking No. 1 in the sector.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Omar Abbosh
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE—COMMUNICATIONS, MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY
Omar Abbosh is group chief executive of Accenture's Communications, Media & Technology operating group, which serves clients in the communications, media, high tech, software and platform industries. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Before being appointed to his current position in September 2018, Omar served as Accenture’s chief strategy officer for more than three years, with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the company’s strategy, strategy implementation, innovation programs and investments. This included ventures and acquisitions, the Dock—Accenture’s flagship innovation facility, industry programs and Accenture’s security business.
Previously, Omar held several management roles including senior managing director – Growth & Strategy for the Resources operating group, managing director of the Resources business in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Global Utilities managing director and managing director of Accenture Smart Grid Services & Accenture Energy Consumer Services. He has served as the global client lead for leading multinational companies where he advised client executives on major strategic issues for their businesses, including bringing and scaling digital innovation into the enterprise, operating model transformation, leadership development, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation and investment management. He also served on the Global Energy Board chaired by Lord Browne of Madingley for ten years.
Omar joined Accenture in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. He holds a degree in electronic engineering from Cambridge University and a master’s degree in business administration from INSEAD.
Kelly Bissell
LEAD – ACCENTURE SECURITY
Kelly leads Accenture's Global Security business. In his role, Kelly oversees the spectrum of security services including strategic consulting, cyber defense, digital identity, response and remediation services, and managed security services. He also helps chief executives and the boards of companies understand 'the new' and approach cybersecurity with a balance of cost and risk.
With more than 25 years of security industry experience, Kelly specializes in breach incident response, identity management, privacy and data protection, secure software development, and cyber risk management. His role as the Accenture Security lead spans strategic consulting, proactive risk management and digital identity to cyber defense, response and remediation services, and managed security services—across all industries. Kelly is also affiliated to OASIS, a non-profit consortium that drives the development, convergence, and adoption of open standards for the global information society.
In his free time, Kelly volunteers for the Community Food Bank. He is passionate about his family and loves spending time with them. He is also an avid reader and a regular runner.
Marc Carrel-Billiard
GLOBAL SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR – ACCENTURE LABS
Marc Carrel-Billiard is the global senior managing director of Accenture Labs, the company's dedicated R&D organization. In his role, he also directs Accenture’s annual Technology Vision research, which looks at the future of enterprise technology.
Marc has been with Accenture for nearly 20 years and has worked across all the five industries we serve. Before taking on leadership of Technology R&D, Marc was the global lead for Emerging Technology in Accenture. He has held several global leadership roles within Accenture’s technology group, including within Application Portfolio Optimization and SOA/Integration Architecture. He has worked across several cutting-edge areas of IT including voice recognition, knowledge-based systems and neural networks.
Marc is one of a select group of Accenture certified Master Technology Architects, and is also a Solution Architect and Select Quality Assurance director. He has broad software engineering and delivery experience, particularly in areas such as component and object-oriented technologies. Before joining Accenture in 1998, Marc was part of IBM Global Services where he published several articles and books on C++ and Java programming with Prentice Hall. Marc lives in San Francisco with his wife and son. His passions include photography and hiking.
Paul Daugherty
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION OFFICER
Paul Daugherty is Accenture’s chief technology & innovation officer and leads the company’s Technology Innovation & Ecosystem group. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. In addition to overseeing Accenture’s technology strategy, Paul has responsibility for driving innovation through R&D activities in Accenture Labs and leveraging emerging technologies to bring the newest innovations to clients globally.
Paul founded and oversees Accenture Ventures, which is focused on strategic equity investments and open innovation to accelerate growth. He also leads the company’s large group of highly skilled, certified technology architects, who apply new technologies and architectural foundations in building solutions for clients across industries. In addition, Paul is responsible for managing Accenture’s alliances, partnerships and senior-level relationships with leading and emerging technology companies, and runs Accenture’s Global CIO Council and annual CIO and Innovation Forum.
Paul has played a key role in evolving Accenture’s technology business to respond to changes in the industry. He developed the Digital Business vision and helped shape Accenture’s early moves to establish its digital business leadership. He founded Accenture’s cloud computing business and was instrumental in launching Accenture’s SaaS, big data and open source businesses, and played a key role in the company’s technology business during the major transitions to client/server computing and internet-based computing.
Paul is a passionate advocate for gender equality in the workplace and sponsoring STEM-related inclusion and diversity initiatives. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on industry and technology issues, and has published articles in a variety of publications. He sponsors Accenture’s technology initiatives with the World Economic Forum. Paul also serves as chairman of the board of Avanade, the leading provider of Microsoft technology services. He is on the board of directors for Girls Who Code, Accenture Global Services Limited, the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley, and the advisory board for Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. Paul helped found the advisory board of the Academy of Information Technology, a non-profit that works to boost IT careers for youth. He also sponsors Accenture’s partnership with Code.org, which is focused on bringing Computer Science education to students around the world. In addition, he serves on the advisory board of Answer ALS as its Infrastructure and Technology Committee Lead.
Paul has been named to Adweek 50 2017, the prestigious recognition of top marketing, media and technology executives who, in Adweek’s words, are “using cutting-edge tech guided by hard-won insights to blaze new trails.” He is listed on Business Transformation 150, which identifies the world’s most influential executives across a spectrum of industries, was named as Computerworld's Premier 100 Technology Leaders for 2017 for his extraordinary technology leadership—and was selected as a LinkedIn Top Voice for 2017. The Institute for Women’s Leadership has recognized Paul with the “Guys Who Get It Award” for business leaders who have supported diversity in the workplace and the advancement of women, especially in the areas of technology and other STEM fields. He was also honored with the Irish America Business 100 award.

Paul joined Accenture in 1986 and became a partner in 1999. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.
Bhaskar Ghosh
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE—TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh is group chief executive—Accenture Technology Services with overall responsibility for the Accenture Application Services business. He directs strategy and investments for Accenture Technology Services, and leads platforms, products and global technology delivery. He is a member of the Accenture Global Management Committee.
In this role, Bhaskar’s focus is to enable enterprises to embrace digital disruption and drive growth through innovation and services designed to reinvent their application portfolio. A key aspect in this is to help enterprises transform their business through the adoption of New IT, spanning strategy, technologies, architectures, platforms, methods, organization and operating models.
Under Bhaskar’s leadership, Accenture transformed its Applications Services business and launched the Future of Applications vision, which emphasized that business leaders will play a bigger role in building applications and IT will play a bigger role in strategy. This vision underscored the role of software for differentiation and innovation, and urged companies to begin a reinvention journey and new operating model to compete in the high-velocity, software-driven world.
Accenture Technology Services has made outstanding progress to rapidly rotate to the New and enable clients to lead in the New under Bhaskar’s leadership. More than 180,000 Accenture Technology people have been trained around the world in New IT, including automation, Agile development and intelligent platforms, and Accenture strengthened New IT offerings around data, cloud, security and Liquid Application Management. In the same period, Accenture opened a ground-breaking Innovation Hub in Bengaluru with a focus on driving innovation at scale, and a network of more than 18 Liquid Studios around the world.
Before joining Accenture in 2003, Bhaskar was vice president and global head of IT infrastructure management services at Infosys. Earlier in his career, he held several senior positions with Philips in India, where he worked extensively with the consumer electronics industry.
Bhaskar has been awarded patents in multiple areas, including IT automation. He holds a bachelor of science degree a master’s degree in business administration from Calcutta University and a Ph.D. in business process management from Utkal University in India.
Sander van’t Noordende
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE—PRODUCTS
Sander van 't Noordende is group chief executive of Accenture’s Products operating group, which serves clients in the air, freight & travel services; automotive; consumer goods & services; industrial equipment; infrastructure & transportation services; life sciences; and retail industries. He is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee, and a director on the board of Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft.
Prior to his current role, Sander was group chief executive—Management Consulting, with responsibility for the company’s capabilities and services across Strategy, Analytics, Customer Relationship Management, Finance & Enterprise Performance, Operations, Risk Management, Sustainability, and Talent & Organization.
From September 2006 until March 2011, Sander was group chief executive of Accenture's Resources operating group, which serves clients in the chemicals, energy, natural resources and utilities industries. Before that, he led Accenture's Resources operating group in Southern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. He also served as managing director of the Resources operating group in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In addition, from 2001 until September 2006, he served as Accenture's country managing director for the Netherlands.
Sander joined Accenture in 1987 and became a partner in 1999. During his Accenture career, he has led large-scale transformation and IT projects for clients in the financial services and utilities industries.
Sander holds a degree in industrial engineering, with a specialty in finance and marketing, from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
Gene Reznick
CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER
Gene Reznik is Accenture's chief strategy officer with responsibility for all aspects of the company's strategy and investments, including ecosystem strategy and ventures and acquisitions. He also has management responsibility for Accenture Security and the company's industry and research programs. Mr. Reznik is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.
Before being named to his current position in September 2018, Gene served as senior managing director for the Accenture Technology Ecosystem & Ventures organization with responsibility for leading all facets of the Accenture ecosystem and venturing lifecycle—setting strategy, forming and managing strategic partnerships, developing relationships with venture capital firms and start-ups, and driving the Accenture innovation agenda.
Throughout his more than 20-year career with Accenture, Gene has held a number of global leadership positions across Accenture's Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) operating group, including serving as the group technology officer for CMT. In this capacity, Gene was responsible for leading the technology agenda for the group globally, which included defining the CMT technology strategy, overseeing current and future technology partnerships and developing emerging technology areas. Gene previously led the CMT business in Asia Pacific, served as global managing director of Accenture's Communications industry group and led the CMT global strategy practice.
Throughout his career, Gene has led high-profile engagements with some of the world's largest organizations. He has developed Accenture's thought leadership across technology and strategy, and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Gene joined Accenture in 1994 and became a partner in 2003. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
Ellyn Shook
CHIEF LEADERSHIP & HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Ellyn Shook is Accenture’s chief leadership & human resources officer, responsible for helping the 710,000 people of Accenture succeed both professionally and personally. Her global team of HR experts is re-imagining leadership and talent practices to create the most truly human work environment in the digital age, fueling Accenture’s differentiation in the market and ability to improve the way the world works and lives.
Ellyn is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. She is a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity, and Accenture has been widely recognized externally as an employer of choice and for its diversity efforts.
Before being named chief human resources officer in 2014, Ellyn was senior managing director—Human Resources, and led Accenture’s Human Resources Centers of Expertise and the Human Resources Business Partner Organization. In this position, she was responsible for the design of Accenture’s talent architecture, as well as the company’s total rewards, talent supply chain and talent development programs.
Between 2004 and 2011, Ellyn was the global human resources lead for career and performance management, total rewards, employee engagement, and mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in her career, she was head of global compensation, responsible for designing and implementing new executive compensation and equity programs—including equity grants at the time of the company’s IPO in 2001. She also led human resources for the company’s New York office for five years.
Ellyn serves on the board of trustees at Harvey Mudd College, the Women's Leadership Board of the Women and Public Policy program at Harvard's Kennedy School, and the steering committee of Paradigm for Parity. She is active in Women in America and Ellevate Women’s Network, and is a member of the HR50 division of World50. A 2015 article in Forbes.com named Ellyn one of the top 10 CHROs.
Ellyn joined Accenture in 1988 and became a partner in 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University.
Mike Sutcliff
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE—ACCENTURE DIGITAL
Mike Sutcliff is group chief executive of Accenture Digital. In this role, Mike helps clients create or react to digital disruption across industries around the world. His responsibilities include Accenture Interactive, Accenture Applied Intelligence, and Accenture Industry X.0 businesses and the digital technology delivery teams to support their work. He builds teams capable of applying digital platforms, technologies and techniques to imagine and deliver better experiences and more profitable business models. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Mike played a key role in the launch of Accenture Digital in 2013 and continues to lead its evolution. Under his leadership, Accenture’s revenue for digital-related services has grown to US$18 billion. Accenture was listed as a leader in the IDC MarketScape, “Worldwide Digital Transformation Consulting and Systems Integration 2017 Vendor Assessment.” Also, Ad Age named Accenture Interactive the largest digital network worldwide in its 2018 agency report.
Prior to assuming the role as Accenture Digital’s group chief executive in 2013, Mike was senior managing director of Accenture’s Financial Services business in North America, with broad responsibility for the group’s strategy, client relationships and financial performance. Between 2002 and 2005, he created the New Businesses team at Accenture. Prior to 2002, he led Accenture’s Global Finance & Performance Management global service line.
Mike is a thought leader in digital transformation topics providing insights with business and technology media such as Forbes, Financial Times, Huffington Post, CIO Magazine, CIO Insight, CXO Talk, ZDNet, Expansion and Baseline Magazine. His areas of expertise include digital marketing, experience design, commerce and content solutions, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, mobile applications, the Internet of Things, blockchain, artificial and augmented reality, smart products and smart manufacturing.
Mike joined Accenture in 1987 and was named partner in 1999. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering and a Master of Science degree in business from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
David Treat
LEAD – TECHNOLOGY INCUBATION GROUP
Dave Treat is a managing director and the global head of Accenture's Blockchain practice, co-lead of Accenture's Firm-wide Blockchain Strategic Growth Initiative and manages Accenture's relationship with several large Financial Services clients. He has 20 years of experience in Financial Services split between consulting and industry roles spanning Capital Markets, Retail Banking, and Cards. He has expertise in running strategy functions, innovation, strategic cost management, large-scale restructuring, customer relationship management, M&A, and outsourcing & offshoring.
Over the past several years, Dave has driven the formation of Accenture's blockchain practice which now spans the globe, engages clients across all industries, and ranges from pure R&D to full scale client business transformation. In addition to managing several of Accenture's strategic alliances in the blockchain domain, he sits on the boards of the Linux Hyperledger Project and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance.
Dave has two patents pending, several more in process, and is a frequent speaker and the author of several papers, including, Banking on Blockchain: A value analysis for investment banks, Editing the Uneditable Blockchain and Blockchain-enabled Distributed Ledgers: Are investment banks ready? He has been quoted extensively on blockchain-related topics in the The New York Times, Fortune, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal.
Andrew Wilson
CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
As Accenture’s chief information officer, Andrew Wilson is responsible for IT in the New for global IT operations and driving the digital agenda of the $39.6 billion company. This includes infrastructure, services and applications that enable Accenture people to work anytime, anywhere to serve clients in more than 120 countries.
Mr. Wilson ensures that Accenture is at the forefront of innovation as a digital business—from mission-critical applications to the network, from e-mail and laptops to enterprise social media and collaboration tools. He also leads CIO Platform Services, and in this capacity, is responsible for Accenture's buy-side relationships with strategic suppliers as well as supplier management services delivered to clients. Mr. Wilson served as Accenture’s Global LGBT Network Sponsor for five years.
Prior Mr. Wilson was a senior managing director responsible for all infrastructure outsourced services for Accenture's global client base, as well as infrastructure operations for Accenture Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Mr. Wilson also served as managing director for BPO Global Delivery, where he oversaw service operations and delivery excellence after re-joining Accenture in 2004.
Formerly Mr. Wilson was managing director, Fujitsu Services, United Kingdom, where he led the IT Services business for finance, retail and travel. Earlier, he served as a CEO for GE Capital IT Solutions in the United Kingdom. He began his career with Accenture where he spent 11 years in a variety of operational and leadership positions in Technology, Outsourcing and Consulting, including six years serving clients in the capital markets industry.
In 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012-2018, CIO Magazine selected Accenture as one of 100 innovative organizations that use IT effectively to create business value. InformationWeek recognized Accenture's IT organization seven years in a row (2007-2013) and the company was named to the InfoWorld 100 list for four consecutive years (2006-2009). IDG Enterprise recently recognized Accenture as a 2017 Digital Edge 50 award winner. Mr. Wilson was recently named a 2016 Computerworld Premier 100 Technology Leader.
He is a graduate of Loughborough University in Leicestershire, United Kingdom with a combined degree in computer science and business studies. Born in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, Mr. Wilson now makes his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he has had a residence for the past 10 years. He enjoys video editing, stage production and many forms of music.
