Richard P. Clark is Accenture’s chief transformation officer for business enablement. In this role, he guides the development, design and implementation of global change initiatives across the company’s full infrastructure. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Richard has extensive financial and operations experience, having held executive positions in several of Accenture’s business areas. Previously, he served as Accenture’s chief accounting officer, working with the Audit Committee of Accenture’s Board of Directors. Prior to that, he was Accenture’s corporate controller. Richard also served as senior managing director-Investor Relations on a team that ranked No. 1 in an Institutional Investor survey.
Before joining the IR team, Richard was director of finance for two of Accenture’s largest business units—Communications, Media and Technology, and Resources. Richard also served on the Accenture Federal Services Board of Managers from 2012-2017, where he chaired the Audit Committee and was a member of the Compensation Committee.
Richard joined Accenture in 1991 and was promoted to partner in 2001. He was also a member of the Human Rights Campaign Business Council from 2007-2022.
A Certified Public Accountant, Richard holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Public Administration from Stonehill College in Massachusetts and a master’s degree with honors in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
