Client Account Lead – North America
Stuart Henderson is Accenture's client account lead, responsible for building and growing relationships with the worlds' leading companies operating in the United States and Canada to drive client value and co-innovation. He is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee and the North America Leadership Team.
Stuart is also Accenture's global industry lead for Life Sciences. He guides the strategies, offerings and thought leadership to help pharma, biotech, medical technology, distributor and consumer health companies reshape the future of medicine and care. Additionally, he is the senior client account lead for a global biopharma company.
With 25+ years of experience in the pharma and biotech industry, Stuart is recognized for his insight into disruption and emerging opportunities, as well as his ability to strategize and execute change, helping companies to pivot and transform their mindsets, approaches and business models to succeed in a new era. He has helped life sciences leaders explore specialized and precision medicine, design and use medical technologies in exciting new ways, and embrace innovative technologies and partnerships to improve patient engagement and care, accelerating R&D and rapidly bringing complex solutions to market.
Before joining Accenture, Stuart worked in corporate strategy and development, heading up R&D strategy at AstraZeneca and leading life sciences strategy and transformation at IBM Global Business Services.
Stuart joined Accenture in 2014. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology from De Montfort University.
