GETTING TO EQUAL

We believe the future workforce is an equal one, and we have set bold goals to accelerate gender. For example, by 2025, we will achieve a gender balanced workforce – and by 2020, women will account for 25 percent of managing directors worldwide.

We also believe that transparency creates trust. That’s why we publish workforce demographics in many countries around the world and report our progress globally. Here are a few highlights:

47% of our new hires are women
42% of our global workforce are women
38% of our promotions are women
38% of our evenue-producing roles are held by women

HOW WE'RE GETTING TO 50/50

Working flexibly

Our employees can set their start and finish times or work more hours over fewer days. They can telecommute from anywhere. And we offer part-time arrangements.

Getting connected

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) support our women and help them build networks. Through the Accenture Women’s Network–a global online platform–our women can share advice, insights and experiences.

Developing every day

At Accenture, everyone has a designated mentor, access to a personalized internal training portal and can sign up for training on being an inclusive leader and avoiding unconscious bias. Because of this, women make up 41 percent of total participants in mentoring and development programs.
