Each day varies drastically, which is part of the appeal for working at Accenture. One day, I am working side-by-side with a client to understand how they operate. The next, I am reaching out to our Oracle team to discuss best-practice solutions. And other days, I am in full build mode, configuring a system to meet a client’s needs. The constantly changing day-to-day activities keep the work interesting and engaging; there is always something new to learn.
Almost everyone says the best part about working at Accenture is the people, but that’s because it’s absolutely true. The people I’ve worked with are driven, smart, forward-thinking and fun. I enjoy facing challenging problems on a project because it gives me an opportunity to brainstorm and collaborate with some of the best minds in the business. The hard stuff ends up being the most fun, and that’s why I enjoy working here.
When I’m not working, you can find my wife and I exploring the neighborhoods of Chicago, looking for good places to play cards and tasting new kinds of beers. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and behind the bar, improving recipes and giving away the results when friends come over to play board games.
