Technology Strategy Senior Manager, Health & Public Services

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

"Accenture is a place where you can truly grow your career—even when it leads to unexpected places."

What I do

As a Senior Manager in Technology Strategy, I work with senior executives on how to best use technology to create business value. I’m specializing in the health and public service industry. I have expertise in value targeting through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), digital strategy and operating model analysis. I enjoy working on any project that involves developing a technology strategy to drive growth, operational efficiency and improved health outcomes.

A day in my life

I spend my day working on sales proposals and delivering large strategic projects. This might mean I’m working from the client site, at the airport, at home or in a hotel. You become very flexible.

When I’m not traveling, I often work from home, which allows me to balance time with my husband and two kids. Balancing my work and home life is very important to me. As a family, we enjoy traveling and going to sports and music events.

There are so many opportunities to change within Accenture. About six years into my career, I decided I wanted a change. Accenture was great and gave me the opportunity to transfer into our Strategy practice, and I also made the decision to transfer from Chicago to our Philadelphia office. I’ve been here now another six years, and I love it.

“There are so many opportunities to change within Accenture.”

My advice

Whether it’s changing your career, learning new skills, moving locations, working internationally—all those opportunities are available, and Accenture is great about opening the door. But you have to put your hand up and take advantage of those chances. Make the most of all the opportunities in front of you and shape your own career.
