We can’t wait to welcome you to your first day at Accenture. Before your career journey starts with us, here’s a preview of what to expect on day one—and beyond.

The countdown is on

Once you sign your offer letter, the countdown to Accenture begins and kicks off the New Joiner Experience (NJX). NJX is Accenture’s award-winning, global onboarding program that supports you from the moment you accept your offer all the way through day-365.

This is the start of a year full of opportunities to learn, grow and connect beyond your day-to-day role.  

Your new joiner experience (NJX)

  • 1. Sign and return your acceptance letter

    This is where it all begins.

  • 2. Set up your Workday profile

    30 days prior to your committed hire date with Accenture, you’ll get access to an onboarding dashboard with valuable information and space to complete key onboarding activities.

  • 3. Explore your welcome kit

    Watch your email for an opportunity to order a special welcome kit. Inside, you’ll find items that reflect our commitment to sustainability.

  • 4.Start learning

    With courses ranging from Gen AI to best practices for Teams meetings, this optional Countdown to Accenture learning pathway is a great way to prepare.

  • 5. Dive into Accenture

    You will be invited to the NJX Welcome, two days of interactive learning. This is your time to explore where you fit in at Accenture and what you want to accomplish. You’ll also participate in small group sessions to connect with your new colleagues.

  • 6. Meet up in the metaverse

    During your NJX Welcome, you will enter our corner of the metaverse, One Accenture Park. Here, you'll explore the latest technology while you learn about Accenture.

  • 7. A year of opportunity

    After your NJX Welcome, you’ll gain access to the Year One at Accenture site. This internal site has the tools and knowledge you need when you need them. Also during your first year, you’ll be invited each quarter to return to the metaverse for immersive learning events, to hear from senior leaders and keep growing your network, skills and knowledge.

Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions. If there’s something that’s not covered here, reach out to your local contact.

If you've already accepted your offer, visit the Countdown to Accenture Learning Pathway to find a curated list of optional training courses. Pick and choose the courses that interest you and complete them at your own pace. With topics covering AI and software development, storytelling, networking and building relationships, there’s something for everyone. Select the 'Recruiting Candidate Sign In' option and enter your Accenture email address. Click on "Forgot Password?" to generate a new password.

 

You can also view the Brain Hacks series of videos for science-backed techniques to help you make the most of the time you dedicate to learning. 

You’ll get an email from the Global Accenture Onboarding team inviting you to launch the Onboarding Dashboard in Workday. This dashboard includes welcome messages from our Chair and CEO Julie Sweet, your Market Lead and Manager, localized country content, and a space to complete key onboarding activities like updating personal data, completing forms, and uploading documents so you can focus instead on making connections, not paperwork, on day one. Complete the tasks in the dashboard ahead of your start date.

When you login for the first time, you’ll need to set up a new password by using the "Forgot Password" link. 

If you’re joining us from India select the "Recruiting Candidate Sign In" option and use the same username and password that you used to register for the "Action Items" page.

Great question. Our Accommodation Support Tool streamlines the process for confidentially requesting accommodations such as assistive technologies, ergonomic equipment, flexible schedules, and more. You can also use it to raise a concern about the accessibility of a site or tool—and you will have access to it from day one.
