Pierre Nanterme

Pierre Nanterme
Chairman & CEO

Pierre Nanterme is Chairman & CEO of Accenture, a US$34.9 billion global professional services company.

In addition to chairing the board of directors, Mr. Nanterme is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees, investors and other stakeholders. He is Accenture’s primary decision- and policy-maker, setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture. He has served on the board of directors since 2010 and leads Accenture's Global Management Committee.

Mr. Nanterme exemplifies Accenture’s commitment to helping its clients achieve high performance. He is a proven leader with deep expertise in developing strong client relationships, a passion for building outstanding client teams and a disciplined focus on operations and execution.

In his 34-year career with Accenture, Mr. Nanterme has held a wide variety of leadership positions across key parts of Accenture’s business. Prior to becoming CEO in January 2011, he was Group Chief Executive of Accenture's Financial Services operating group, which serves clients in the banking, capital markets and insurance industries. In 2006, he joined Accenture’s global leadership team, where he contributed to the planning and execution of Accenture’s successful long-term business strategy and the implementation of its global operating model.

From May 2006 through August 2007, Mr. Nanterme was Chief Leadership Officer, with primary responsibility for Accenture's leadership development program. In that role, he oversaw Accenture's corporate citizenship initiatives globally. He also served as Accenture’s country managing director for France from November 2005 through August 2007. Mr. Nanterme spent much of his earlier career with Accenture in the Financial Services operating group, where he served as managing director for Europe, Africa and Latin America, as well as global managing director of Accenture's Insurance industry group.

Mr. Nanterme represents Accenture in a number of external venues. Since 2011, he has served on various task forces for the B20 Summit, which comprises top business leaders from the G20 countries who inform and advise the G20 on key global issues from a business perspective. He is a member of the World Economic Forum's International Business Council and its IT Governors Steering Committee, as well as executive sponsor of the Forum's Digital Transformation of Industries research project. He is also a member of the Wall Street Journal's CEO Council.

Mr. Nanterme joined Accenture in 1983 and became a partner in 1993. He holds a Master of Science degree in management from ESSEC Business School (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) in Paris. He was awarded the insignia of Chevalier (Knight) of the Legion of Honour in France in 2010. In 2015, he was named to Fortune's "Businessperson of the Year" list of top CEOs. In 2016, he was named to Harvard Business Review’s list of "The Best-Performing CEOs in the World."

David Rowland

David P. Rowland
Chief Financial Officer

David Rowland is Accenture's chief financial officer with responsibility for the company’s corporate controllership, treasury, tax, investor relations, financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and analysis, and corporate development functions. Mr. Rowland is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee and previously served on the board and as Audit Committee chair for Avanade, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft.

Prior to being named CFO in July 2013, Mr. Rowland served for more than six years as Accenture’s senior vice president—Finance, with responsibility for the company's Finance Operations organization, which included financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and analysis and the global finance directors supporting the company’s operating groups and businesses. During this time, Mr. Rowland was a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and chaired Accenture’s Operations Council consisting of all group operating officers and other corporate leaders.

Earlier in his career with the company, Mr. Rowland held a number of finance leadership positions including finance director for Accenture's two largest operating groups, Communications & High Tech and Products.

Mr. Rowland began his career with Accenture in 1983 in the Consulting group and spent several years serving clients across a variety of industries. He has served on a number of management committees and has also played significant leadership roles in a number of company-wide initiatives.

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Rowland has served on several civic and charitable boards. He is currently Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was recognized among the top CFOs in the Payments, Processors & IT Services sector by Institutional Investor in 2015, 2016 and 2017, including as Best CFO on the "2016 All-America Executive Team," ranking No. 1 in the sector.

Mr. Rowland holds a bachelor of science degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jo Deblaere

Jo Deblaere
Chief Operating Officer

Jo Deblaere is Accenture’s chief operating officer, responsible for leading the company’s business operations globally, executing Accenture’s business strategy and ensuring operational excellence company-wide. Mr. Deblaere is also group chief executive – Europe with overall leadership responsibility for more than 20 countries. In addition, Mr. Deblaere leads enterprise risk management for Accenture, working across the company to identify, assess and actively manage enterprise risks. He is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee and chairs Accenture’s Capital and Investment Committees.

Prior to becoming COO in September 2009, Mr. Deblaere was chief operating officer of Accenture’s outsourcing business globally, a position he held since 2006. In this role he was instrumental in driving operational excellence across Accenture’s $9 billion outsourcing business and in leading Accenture’s outsourcing industrialization agenda.

From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Deblaere led Accenture’s global network of business process outsourcing delivery centers. From 2000 to 2005, he had overall responsibility for Accenture’s work with public-sector clients in Western Europe. Earlier in his career, he worked with numerous clients in a variety of industries including automotive, metals, energy, chemicals, media and entertainment, and public service.

Mr. Deblaere represents the company as part of the BUSINESSEUROPE Corporate Advisory and Support Group. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement–Young Enterprise Europe and a member of the Board of Governors of Junior Achievement Worldwide.

Mr. Deblaere joined Accenture in 1985 and became a partner in 1996. He holds a degree in business administration and information management from KU Leuven in Belgium. Mr. Deblaere is based in Brussels.

Omar Abbosh

Omar Abbosh
Chief Strategy Officer

Omar Abbosh is Accenture’s chief strategy officer. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s strategy, innovation programs and investments. In this role, Mr. Abbosh also has management responsibility for Accenture Security, Accenture’s Dublin Centre for Innovation, Accenture’s Ventures & Acquisitions, Industry programs, Research and Corporate Citizenship. He is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

Before being appointed to his current position in March 2015, Mr. Abbosh held several management roles including senior managing director--Growth & Strategy for the Resources operating group, managing director of the Resources business in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Global Utilities managing director and managing director of Accenture Smart Grid Services & Accenture Energy Consumer Services. He has served as the global client lead for leading multinational companies where he advised client executives on major strategic issues for their businesses, including bringing and scaling digital innovation into the enterprise, operating model transformation, leadership development, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation and investment management. He also served on the Global Energy Board chaired by Lord Browne of Madingley for ten years.

Mr. Abbosh joined Accenture in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. He holds a degree in electronic engineering from Cambridge University and a master’s degree in business administration from INSEAD.

Gianfranco Casati

Gianfranco Casati
Group Chief Executive – Growth Markets

Gianfranco Casati is group chief executive—Growth Markets, responsible for overseeing Accenture's business in Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Turkey. In this role he works closely with the company’s five operating group leaders to ensure that Accenture is well-positioned for continued growth in each of these key markets. He is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.

Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Casati was group chief executive of Accenture's Products operating group, which serves clients in the air, freight & travel services; automotive; consumer goods & services; industrial equipment; infrastructure & transportation services; life sciences; and retail industries. Before that, Mr. Casati was managing director of the Products operating group's Europe operating unit. He also served as Accenture's country managing director for Italy and as chairman of Accenture's geographic council in its IGEM (Italy, Greece and emerging markets) region. In addition, Mr. Casati led Accenture's Electronics & High Tech industry group in Europe. Among the many global clients he has served during his career with Accenture are Pirelli, Alcatel, Siemens and Sony.

Mr. Casati joined Accenture in 1984 after practicing as a certified public accountant, and he became a partner in 1994. Prior to the company's transition to a corporate structure and IPO in 2001, he served as a member of the Accenture Board of Partners and led a global program aimed at redefining the partner compensation and career model.

Mr. Casati holds a degree in economics from Pavia University in Italy.

Paul R. Daugherty

Paul R. Daugherty
Chief Technology & Innovation Officer

Paul Daugherty is Accenture’s chief technology & innovation officer and leads the company’s Technology Innovation & Ecosystem group. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. In addition to overseeing Accenture’s technology strategy, Mr. Daugherty has responsibility for driving innovation through R&D activities in Accenture’s Labs and leveraging emerging technologies to bring the newest innovations to clients globally.

He founded and oversees Accenture Ventures, which is focused on strategic equity investments and open innovation to accelerate growth. He also leads the company’s large group of highly skilled, certified technology architects, who apply new technologies and architectural foundations in building solutions for clients across industries. In addition, Mr. Daugherty is responsible for managing Accenture’s alliances, partnerships and senior-level relationships with leading and emerging technology companies, and runs Accenture’s Global CIO Council and annual CIO and Innovation Forum.

Mr. Daugherty has played a key role in evolving Accenture’s technology business to respond to the changes in the industry. He developed the Digital Business vision and helped shape Accenture’s early moves to establish its digital business leadership. He founded Accenture’s cloud computing business and was instrumental in launching Accenture’s SaaS, big data and open source businesses, and played a key role in the company’s technology business during the major transitions to client/server computing and internet-based computing.

Mr. Daugherty is a passionate advocate for gender equality in the workplace and sponsoring STEM-related inclusion & diversity initiatives. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on industry and technology issues, and has published articles in a variety of publications. He sponsors Accenture’s technology initiatives with the World Economic Forum. Mr. Daugherty also serves as chairman of the board of Avanade, the leading provider of Microsoft technology services. He is on the board of directors for Girls Who Code, Accenture Global Services Limited and the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley. He is on the advisory boards for Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan and Answer ALS, where he serves as its Infrastructure and Technology Committee Lead. Mr. Daugherty helped found the advisory board of the Academy of Information Technology, a non-profit that works to boost IT careers for youth. In addition, he sponsors Accenture’s partnership with Code.org which is focused on bringing Computer Science education to students around the world.

Mr. Daugherty was recently named as one of Computerworld's Premier 100 Technology Leaders for 2017 for his extraordinary technology leadership. He was also recognized by The Institute for Women’s Leadership with the “Guys Who Get It Award” which honors business leaders who have supported diversity in the workplace and advancement of women, especially in the areas of technology and other STEM fields.

He is co-author of Human + Machine: Reimagining Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, a management guide to Artificial Intelligence, to be published by Harvard Press in early 2018.

Mr. Daugherty joined Accenture in 1986 and became a partner in 1999. He earned his bachelor of science degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.

Amy Fuller

Amy Fuller

Amy Fuller will become Accenture’s chief marketing & communications officer on January 1, 2018.* Ms. Fuller is an experienced global marketer with a track record of achieving results for brand and businesses across a range of consumer and B2B industries, including those undergoing significant disruption. Her experience is a blend of agency and client-side executive management roles. Ms. Fuller headed global consumer marketing for MasterCard which entailed developing the iconic “Priceless” campaign across all channels and markets to provide innovation and greater client and brand value in preparation for the company’s initial public offering.

Most recently, Ms. Fuller served as senior managing director at Deloitte, reinvigorating the global brand to equip for today’s competitive dynamics and determining its global purpose and corporate responsibility strategies in line with talent and business objectives. Her particular experience is in leading multidisciplinary marketing efforts for complex global businesses and leading teams across specialties and geographies.

Ms. Fuller’s executive agency experience includes business development and client lead roles at Y&R, Dentsu and Ogilvy & Mather, where she managed brands and sold products and services globally for some of the most distinctive businesses in the world, leading award-winning teams achieving Effies for effectiveness and a range of creative awards for excellence and innovation. Ms. Fuller has shaped brands and led award-winning integrated campaigns for such world-class brands as Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, AT&T, Kraft, Kimberly Clark, IBM and Siemens—many in times of change.

Ms. Fuller is a cum laude graduate of Bryn Mawr College. She serves on the board of directors for global NGO HealthRight International, and volunteers as a writing and career coach for a leading college access program, the Posse Foundation.

*On September 25, 2017, Accenture announced that Roxanne Taylor, chief marketing & communications officer, will retire from the company on Aug. 31, 2018. Amy Fuller will join Accenture and succeed Ms. Taylor as chief marketing & communications officer on Jan. 1, 2018.

Bhaskar Ghosh

Bhaskar Ghosh
Group Chief Executive – Accenture Technology Services

Bhaskar Ghosh is group chief executive of Accenture Technology Services with overall responsibility for the Accenture Application Services business, spanning systems integration and application outsourcing. Additionally, he leads platforms, products and global technology delivery. He is a member of the Accenture Global Management Committee.

Previously, Dr. Ghosh led the Accenture Delivery Centers for Technology in India, and he was the global application outsourcing lead. He was also instrumental in building and managing the Accenture IT infrastructure service delivery capabilities within the Delivery Centers for Technology.

Before joining Accenture in 2003, Dr. Ghosh was vice president and global head of IT infrastructure management services at Infosys. Earlier in his career, he held several senior positions with Philips in India, where he worked extensively with the consumer electronics industry.

Dr. Ghosh is currently based in Bengaluru, India. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Calcutta University, a master’s degree in business administration from Calcutta University and a Ph.D. in business process management from Utkal University in India.

Chad T. Jerdee

Chad T. Jerdee
General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

As general counsel, Chad Jerdee has ultimate responsibility for all legal support to Accenture, serving as principal counsel to senior leadership and the board of directors and leading the company's Legal department. As head of the Legal department, he oversees all legal services, the contract management function and government relations functions. As chief compliance officer, Mr. Jerdee is responsible for managing legal and regulatory compliance programs that enable Accenture to operate around the globe while adhering to the highest ethical standards. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

Prior to assuming his current role in June 2015, Mr. Jerdee held a variety of leadership positions in our Legal organization, working on many of our largest and most complex transactions, and helping Accenture expand into new areas of growth.

From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Jerdee served as Deputy General Counsel – Sales & Delivery. In this role, he was responsible for leading global legal support for Accenture’s client-facing business including sales, solution development and client delivery teams—approximately 1,750 Legal professionals in 48 countries. He was also a member of Accenture’s Capital Committee.

From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Jerdee was the Legal lead for the Outsourcing Sales Legal team as well as for Accenture’s growth platforms. Prior to 2005, he held a number of roles focused on negotiating client transactions and helping to develop Accenture’s contract and negotiation standards.

Before joining Accenture, Mr. Jerdee practiced law in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he specialized in corporate, financing and real estate matters.

Mr. Jerdee joined Accenture in 1997 and became partner in 2003. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the St. Olaf College and a juris doctor degree from the University of Minnesota.

Mark A. Knickrehm

Mark A. Knickrehm
Group Chief Executive – Accenture Strategy

Mark Knickrehm is group chief executive of Accenture Strategy, which focuses on solving clients’ most pressing challenges at the intersection of business, technology and operations—helping C-suite executives develop strategies to transform their organizations. He is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.

Mr. Knickrehm is a thought leader on how emerging trends and technologies will impact industry and business models, especially around digital disruption, competitiveness and envisioning what the workforce of the future will look like in a digital world.

Prior to assuming his current role in 2013, Mr. Knickrehm served as senior managing director of Accenture’s global Health industry group and also was responsible for growth and strategy in the Health & Public Service operating group.

Mr. Knickrehm spent 12 years at McKinsey & Company where, as a partner, he focused on strategy, operations and organization. He also served for two years as executive vice president, CFO and president of international operations for Paging Network, Inc. (PageNet), a publicly held wireless company with annual revenues of more than $1 billion. He rejoined Accenture in 2005, having previously been with Accenture from 1984-1989, where he led large client software design, development and installation teams.

Mr. Knickrehm holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. He is currently based in Los Angeles, after spending three years living and working in Asia.

Dan T. London

Dan T. London
Group Chief Executive – Health & Public Service

Dan London is group chief executive of the Health & Public Service operating group, responsible for Accenture's services globally to healthcare providers and health plans, as well as services to government and public-sector clients in the defense, revenue, human services, public health, postal, justice and public safety sectors. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

Before assuming his current role in June 2014, Mr. London was senior managing director of Health & Public Service in North America, with broad responsibility for the operating unit’s strategy and growth initiatives, client relationships and financial performance.

Between 2006 and 2009, Mr. London was managing director of Accenture’s Finance & Performance Management global service line. In that role, he worked with clients on major finance transformation programs involving strategic planning, business architecture, enterprise resource management, finance operations and reporting, shared services and outsourcing, and also was responsible for building the group’s capabilities through new service offerings and alliance relationships.

Previously, Mr. London held a variety of other leadership roles in Finance & Performance Management. Earlier in his career, he managed Accenture’s business relationships with major clients in both the Resources and Products operating groups focused on large-scale ERP and shared services transformations. Mr. London has also played an important role in Accenture’s strategic planning efforts and company-wide operating model changes.

Mr. London joined Accenture in 1986 and became a partner in 1998. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rutgers University.

Richard Lumb

Richard Lumb
Group Chief Executive – Financial Services

Richard Lumb is group chief executive of Accenture’s Financial Services operating group, which serves clients in the banking, capital markets and insurance industries. He is responsible for all services to clients in these industries and for the growth, strategy and financial performance of the group.

Mr. Lumb also oversees the growth and strategy of Accenture Consulting, whose more-than 40,000 consultants serve clients across 40 industries. He represents Accenture Consulting and the firm’s five operating groups on Accenture's Global Operating Committee and he is a member of the company’s Global Management Committee.

In his 32 years with Accenture, Mr. Lumb has helped to transform some of the world’s leading financial institutions with innovative strategies, business models and change programs, and he has held a number of leadership roles in Accenture.

Mr. Lumb’s vision is to be at the heart of changes taking place in financial services, supporting financial institutions with new strategic and digital transformation, making a difference to their results and delivering value for the industry. He is a proponent of closer collaboration between traditional players and emerging fintech companies, and he oversees Accenture’s FinTech Innovation Lab in New York, London and Hong Kong.

He has written for and commented in leading publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Le Monde, Nikkei, South China Morning Post and others.

He is the recent coauthor of "Editing the Uneditable Blockchain: Why Distributed Ledger Technology Must Adapt to an Imperfect World," which examines the challenge of adapting "immutable" blockchain technology to laws like "the right to be forgotten" within private enterprise systems. Mr. Lumb is also coauthor of "Bridging the Technology Gap in Financial Services Boardrooms," which argued that bank boards need deeper technology insight to set successful strategies in a digital world. He was named Consulting magazine's top financial services industry consultant in 2016.

Mr. Lumb is currently the chairman of Mortgage Cadence LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture) and a non-executive director of Duck Creek Technologies. He is a former chairman of Accenture Software. He has a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

Laurence Morvan

Laurence Morvan

Laurence Morvan is Chief of Staff—Office of the Chairman & CEO, with responsibility for ensuring that Chairman & CEO Pierre Nanterme's agenda is effectively represented in Accenture's core initiatives and leadership forums, and for managing the Chairman & CEO's participation in internal and external engagements. Ms. Morvan is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.

In her role, Ms. Morvan oversees special projects on behalf of the Chairman & CEO, including leading the company's Accenture Way effort. She also serves as the executive sponsor for Accenture's relationship with the B20, an international forum that brings thought leadership and business policy recommendations to the G20 heads of state, with a focus on digitalization and entrepreneurship.

Prior to assuming her current role in 2012, Ms. Morvan held a number of internal strategy positions and contributed to the Accenture Human Capital Strategy. She started her career with Accenture as a consultant in the Strategy practice, working primarily for Financial Services clients in France and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Accenture in 1994, Ms. Morvan worked in investment banking on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.

Ms. Morvan teaches Strategic Human Resources Management at Sciences Po, a leading French business school.

She holds a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a master of science degree in management from ESSEC Business School (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) in Paris.

Prior to his current role, Mr. van ‘t Noordende was group chief executive—Management Consulting, with responsibility for the company’s capabilities and services across Strategy, Analytics, Customer Relationship Management, Finance & Enterprise Performance, Operations, Risk Management, Sustainability, and Talent & Organization.

From September 2006 until March 2011, Mr. van ‘t Noordende was group chief executive of Accenture's Resources operating group, which serves clients in the chemicals, energy, natural resources and utilities industries. Before that he led Accenture's Resources operating group in Southern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. He also served as managing director of the Resources operating group in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In addition, from 2001 until September 2006, he served as Accenture's country managing director for the Netherlands.

Mr. van ‘t Noordende joined Accenture in 1987 and became a partner in 1999. During his Accenture career, he has led large-scale transformation and IT projects for clients in the financial services and utilities industries.

Mr. van ‘t Noordende holds a degree in industrial engineering, with a specialty in finance and marketing, from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Jean-Marc Ollagnier is group chief executive of Accenture's Resources operating group, which serves clients in the chemicals, energy, natural resources and utilities industries. He is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.

Prior to being named to his current position in March 2011, Mr. Ollagnier was managing director of Accenture’s Resources business across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

Debbie Polishook is group chief executive of Accenture Operations. In this role, she oversees Accenture’s comprehensive portfolio of business process services as well as Infrastructure and cloud services, including the Accenture Cloud Platform. She leads a team of both consulting and outsourcing professionals charged with developing, selling and delivering differentiated intelligent infrastructure, cloud and business process services to drive transformational value and productivity for clients. In addition, Ms. Polishook serves as a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and Capital Committee.

In March 2017, Debbie was appointed to the board of directors of Avanade Inc., an Accenture unit that provides cloud and digital services through the Microsoft ecosystem.

Before assuming her current position, Ms. Polishook was group operating officer for Accenture Operations, responsible for executing business strategy and driving operational excellence.

Prior to this role, Ms. Polishook was the Global Quality and Client Satisfaction Lead for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), as well as the lead for Accenture’s Business Support Services team that provides a set of common services across the company’s BPO contracts.

Before joining Accenture in 2010, Ms. Sweet was, for 10 years, a partner in the Corporate department of the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, which she joined in 1992. Pierre Nanterme is Chairman & CEO of Accenture, a US$34.9 billion global professional services company.

In addition to chairing the board of directors, Mr. Nanterme is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees, investors and other stakeholders. He is Accenture’s primary decision- and policy-maker, setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture. In his 34-year career with Accenture, Mr. Nanterme has held a wide variety of leadership positions across key parts of Accenture’s business. Since 2011, he has served on various task forces for the B20 Summit, which comprises top business leaders from the G20 countries who inform and advise the G20 on key global issues from a business perspective. He is a member of the World Economic Forum's International Business Council and its IT Governors Steering Committee, as well as executive sponsor of the Forum's Digital Transformation of Industries research project. Marjorie Magner, a member of Accenture's board of directors since February 2006 and our lead director since January 2014, is a founding member and partner of Brysam Global Partners.

Prior to the formation of Brysam, Ms. Magner served as chairman and CEO of the Global Consumer Group at Citigroup from 2003 to October 2005. In this position she was responsible for the company's operations serving consumers through retail banking, cards and consumer finance, as well as for finance, credit and other staff functions. During this time, Ms. Magner was named to the Fortune magazine list of Most Powerful Women in Business from 2001-2004, Forbes magazine list of World's Most Powerful Women (No. 19), and U.S. Banker's list of the Most Powerful Women in Banking (No. 1), among others.

Jaime Ardila

Jaime Ardila

Jaime Ardila, a member of Accenture’s board of directors since August 2013, was formerly executive vice president and president of General Motors’ South American operations, reporting to the company’s CEO, and a member of the General Motors Executive Committee from 2010 until his retirement in March 2016.

Mr. Ardila is a seasoned executive who was with General Motors for more than 25 years. Prior to being appointed executive vice president and president of General Motors South America in 2010, Mr. Ardila was president of GM’s operations in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Previously, he was vice president and chief financial officer for the Latin America, Africa and Middle East region.

Mr. Ardila first joined General Motors in Colombia in 1984 and spent all but two years between then and his retirement with the company, serving in a variety of financial and senior executive positions—primarily in Latin America, as well as in Europe and the United States. Between 1996 and 1998, he was with N M Rothschild & Sons Ltd., establishing the investment bank’s Colombian business before rejoining GM. He also worked in the Colombian government at the beginning of his career.

In addition to serving on Accenture's board of directors, Mr. Ardila serves on the boards of Ecopetrol S.A. and Goldman Sachs BDC, Inc.

A member of Accenture’s board of directors since December 2008, Charles Giancarlo is the chief executive officer and member of the board of directors of Pure Storage, Inc.

Mr. Giancarlo is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in the communications industry. He currently serves as chief executive officer of Pure Storage, Inc., a manufacturer of high performance data storage systems. Previously, he was a Managing Director with Silver Lake Partners from 2008 to 2013 and a Senior Advisor from 2013 to 2015. Before joining Silver Lake, Mr. Giancarlo spent 15 years with Cisco Systems, where he led the company’s product development, business development and other management activities. Among the variety of senior executive roles he held was executive vice president, chief technology officer and chief development officer, responsible for all 38 of the company’s business units and divisions.

Mr. Giancarlo joined Cisco when the company acquired Kalpana Inc., the pioneer in Ethernet switching. He was an early developer of both high speed Internet backbone and switched Ethernet technologies, and he holds multiple patents in data communications and voice technologies. Mr. Giancarlo has founded five communications equipment and software companies. While at Cisco he was named in Network World’s list of the “Top 50 Most Powerful People in Networking” for four consecutive years.

Herbert Hainer joined Accenture’s board of directors in November 2016. He was chief executive officer and chairman of the executive board of Adidas from 2001 until his retirement in September 2016.

Mr. Hainer joined Adidas in 1987 and advanced through a series of sales and management roles, becoming national sales director for Germany in 1991; senior vice president in charge of sales and logistics for the Europe, Middle East & Africa region in 1995; and a member of the executive board in 1997. He was named vice chairman of the executive board in 2000, and CEO and chairman of the executive board the following year. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hainer was a divisional sales manager with Procter & Gamble in Germany for eight years.

Mr. Hainer is a director of Deutsche Lufthansa and Allianz SE. He is also vice chairman of the supervisory board of FC Bayern München.

William L. Kimsey, a member of Accenture's board of directors since November 2003, was formerly chief executive officer of Ernst & Young Global, a position he held from 1998 until his retirement from the company in 2002. During his tenure as CEO, he oversaw the realignment of the firm's structure, strategy and performance measurement worldwide.

Mr. Kimsey joined Ernst & Young (then known as Arthur Young) as a staff accountant in 1964 and became a partner in 1978. Among the many positions he held during his 32 years with the firm in addition to CEO were deputy chairman and chief operating officer; vice chairman and West Region managing partner; vice chairman and Southwest Region managing partner; managing partner of the Kansas City office; and director of management consulting in the St. Louis office.

Mr. Kimsey's experience in the public sector includes serving as director of Budgets & Accounting Systems for the Kansas City, Missouri, public schools and as director of Revenue & Administration for Jackson County, Missouri.

Mr. Kimsey earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 1964. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Before assuming her current position in 2003, Ms. McKinstry gained more than a decade of experience with Wolters Kluwer and its North American subsidiaries, serving as CEO of CCH Legal Information Services for three years and as CEO of operations in North America. Earlier in her career, she was a principal with Booz & Company (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton), focusing on media and technology.

Ms. McKinstry is a director of Abbott and Russell Reynolds Associates. She is also a member of the European Round Table of Industrialists and a member of the board of overseers of Columbia Business School. Ms. McKinstry previously served as a director of Ericsson from 2004 to 2013 and Sanoma from 2011 to 2014.

Ms. McKinstry holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston. In 2005, she was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by the University of Rhode Island.

Gilles C. Pélisson

A member of Accenture's board of directors since April 2012, Gilles C. Pélisson is chairman and CEO of TF1 Group, the leading French private broadcasting company. He previously served as chairman and CEO of Accor SA, the global hotel group.

Mr. Pélisson began his career with Accor in 1983 in the United States and then served as senior vice president for Accor’s Asia-Pacific region, based in Los Angeles. He was appointed chief executive officer of the French Courtepaille restaurants in 1988 and Co-CEO of the Novotel hotel chain in 1993.

From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Pélisson served as the chief executive officer of Disneyland Paris Resort and as its chairman and chief executive officer beginning in 1997. In 2000, he joined the SUEZ group to lead the ST 3G consortium bid for a mobile license and took over as Chairman of Noos, a cable network operator in France. In 2001, he joined mobile operator Bouygues Telecom as chief executive officer and was appointed chairman and chief executive officer in February 2004.

Mr. Pélisson rejoined Accor as CEO in 2006 and was appointed chairman in 2009. He served as CEO of Accor until December 2010 and as chairman until January 2011.

In addition to serving on Accenture's board of directors, Mr. Pélisson serves on the board of TF1 Group. Mr. Pélisson previously served on the boards of Groupe L Barrière Hotels and Casinos and Sun International and as a member of the global senior advisory board of Jefferies Group, Inc. He is the former chairman of the ESSEC (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) Business School Foundation and a former member of the executive board of MEDEF, the French Employers’ Association. Mr. Pélisson was awarded both the Légion d’Honneur and the Ordre National du Mérite, as a Chevalier, from the French Republic.

Paula A. Price joined Accenture’s board of directors in May 2014. Ms. Price is a full-time senior lecturer at Harvard Business School in the Accounting and Management Unit. Until January 2014, she was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ahold USA, a retailer that operates more than 700 supermarkets in the United States under the Stop & Shop, Giant and Martin’s names, as well as the Peapod online grocery delivery service. At Ahold USA, Ms. Price was responsible for finance and accounting, strategic planning, real estate development and construction, and information technology.

Prior to joining Ahold in 2009 as chief financial officer of Stop & Shop/Giant Landover, Ms. Price was senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at CVS Caremark. Earlier in her career, she was CFO of the Institutional Trust Services division of JPMorgan Chase and also held senior management positions at Prudential Insurance Co. of America, Diageo and Kraft Foods. A certified public accountant, she began her career at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Ms. Price serves on the corporate boards of directors of Dollar General Corporation and Western Digital Corporation. She also serves on the boards of directors of Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, and on the board of overseers of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Ms. Price previously served on the board of directors of Charming Shoppes, Inc. from March 2011 until it was sold, and as a trustee of Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Ms. Price earned her MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago and her BSc in Accountancy from DePaul University.

Arun Sarin
Director since 2015

Arun Sarin joined Accenture’s board of directors in October 2015. He was Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Group Plc from 2003 until his retirement in 2008, and also served as a director of Vodafone from 1999 to 2008.

Mr. Sarin, who was born in India, began his career in the telecommunications industry in 1984, when he joined Pacific Telesis Group. He progressed through various management positions there and at AirTouch Communications—which Pacific Telesis spun off in 1994—and was named president and chief operating officer of AirTouch in 1997. After AirTouch merged with Vodafone in 1999, Mr. Sarin was appointed CEO of Vodafone’s U.S./Asia-Pacific region. He left Vodafone in 2000 to become CEO of InfoSpace, Inc., and from 2001 until 2003, he served as CEO of Accel-KKR Telecom. He rejoined Vodafone in 2003 as its Group Chief Executive Officer. He grew the company globally from 100 million subscribers to 300 million subscribers and expanded its services to include data and broadband. Following his retirement in 2008, he served as a senior advisor to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. for five years.

Mr. Sarin is a director of Blackhawk Network Holdings, Charles Schwab Corporation and Cisco Systems. He previously served as a director of The Gap and Safeway, and as a non-executive director of the Court of the Bank of England. In 2010, he was named an Honorary Knight of the British Empire for services to the communications industry.

Mr. Sarin holds MBA and Master of Science (Engineering) degrees from University of California-Berkeley, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.

Frank K. Tang

Frank K. Tang
Director since 2014

Frank K. Tang, a member of Accenture’s board of directors since May 2014, is chief executive officer and managing partner of FountainVest Partners, a leading private equity firm dedicated to investments in China.

Before co-founding FountainVest in 2007, Mr. Tang was senior managing director and head of China investments at Temasek Holdings, an investment company owned by the government of Singapore.

Prior to joining Temasek in 2005, Mr. Tang was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for nearly 11 years.

He began his investment banking career in the New York office before moving to Hong Kong, where he headed the telecommunications, media and technology investment banking effort in Asia, excluding Japan.

Mr. Tang is a board member of Weibo Corporation, as well as a governor of the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.

Mr. Tang earned his MBA from Columbia Business School—where he is a member of its board of overseers—and his Bachelor’s degree from Donghua University.

Tracey T. Travis

Tracey T. Travis

Tracey T. Travis, a member of Accenture’s board of directors since July 2017, is executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Estée Lauder Companies.

As CFO of The Estée Lauder Companies, Ms. Travis is responsible for global finance, accounting, investor relations, information technology, and strategy and new business development. Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies in 2012, she was senior vice president and CFO at Ralph Lauren for seven years. Previously, she served in senior financial, information technology and operations management roles at L Brands, American National Can and PepsiCo/Pepsi Bottling Group. She began her career at General Motors as an engineer and senior financial analyst.

Ms. Travis is a director of Campbell Soup Company and was previously a director of Jo-Ann Stores. She also currently serves on the board of Lincoln Center Theater and is a trustee on the board of overseers of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Ms. Travis holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
