This dashboard was created as part of a CSR activity aimed to help East London based charity Stitches In Time with their data analysis needs.
The benefits delivered from this analysis include:
- Determining how COVID-19 may have affected the charity’s participants. The charity is aimed at mostly at women from BAME backgrounds, demographics which have been disproportionally affected by COVID-19.
- Identifying which parts of East London are most affected by different types of deprivation, and how the overall deprivation can be skewed by the impact of affluent areas such as Canary Wharf
- Having key statistics and metrics to call upon helps in the grant application process. Having the data split by constituency as well as local authority makes it clearer who can be contacted in response to issues such as child poverty.
