Market Development Directors (MDD) are responsible for developing and growing Accenture business in connection with our emerging and mature partnerships in the marketplace. Establish and nurture relationships with Accenture and partners to identify, build, and execute joint go to market strategies and originate sales opportunities on our mutual accounts. Focus on growing the sales pipeline for our joint offerings and campaigns through demand generation, origination, and co-selling opportunities. Enable Accenture s strategy to the field and account teams.
This role works as a part of a broader Partnership team, often directed by a Partner Development Director (PDD). Market Developers are responsible for driving origination of net new pipeline in conjunction with the partner for a specific market, industry, play, or combination thereof. They are evangelists, driving awareness of their partnership and plays typically with Accenture client teams. Market Development Directors MDDs should be sales certified in partners technology. MDDs should be able to cover initial client meetings to shape and sell the joint value proposition. Partner Pipeline Development Develop in Region Market development plan in alignment with the Partnership and Segment Development Director global sales strategy. Drive regional awareness of the partnership and plays demand generation and support of sales opportunities. Build trusted Relationship with Partner Executives and sales team within the market. Perform Joint Account Planning between Partner sales teams and Accenture client teams. Identify Target Accounts within the market unit and work toward building strong relationships with their regional sales team Execute joint sales campaigns within the market to originate opportunities for our Plays and Offerings Drive awareness of plays, demand generation and support of sales opportunities. Leverage sales collateral, data, and tools to accelerate market development Execute joint sales campaigns to originate opportunities for our Plays and Offerings with our partners. Accountable for growing Qualified Pipeline in connection to a Partner. Convert stage 0 opportunities to stage 1 2a pipeline for jointly agreed targets. While MDDs have managed sales targets in connection with their role, performance metrics are weighted toward growing the pipeline.
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)
