Duck Creek Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Florham Park, NJ): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Duck Creek Application Development Manager in Florham Park, NJ to provide support, develop and Test DuckCreek platform based commercial insurance business applications using Microsoft .Net technologies. S/he will perform the following duties: lead the technical production support activities like triage, troubleshoot issues, log defect, analyze and share workaround and track defect to closure; manage and solve production incidents under tight SLA deadlines; lead and coordinate with onshore and offshore support team on both functional and technical issues; meet with decision makers, systems owners, and application stack holders to identify/resolve current system issues in production environment and define business requirements wherever applicable; create technical artifacts like technical RCA documents/design documents that provide assistance to business, users and other IT teams integrated with the mentioned applications; perform in-depth analysis, triage for changes to the Interfaces, post-implementation production support; monitor production servers health, alerts, errors and raise ticket for issues and escalate it to concerned teams for reliability of all applications; look for efficiency improvement and productivity savings resulting in improving operational efficiency; automate and develop utility to help in daily monitoring, validation of systems and to analyze and provide workaround for production issues; work closely with Technology Infrastructure Teams, Development and Testing Teams in supporting Integrated / Independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, and server upgrades; managing client communications.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 3 years toward a bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field degree and 6 years of IT experience. Further, this position also requires 5 years of experience as a Team Lead, Technical Lead or related IT Position including the following experience: 5 years utilizing.NET framework 4.5, Angular and Angular JS along with Duck Creek Policy administration suite including Author, Server Express, Anywhere API, Microsoft SQL Server, and Visual Source Safe or Team Foundation Server; 4 years designing software solutions for Duck Creek Policy administration systems in a commercial insurance domain; 3 years implementing Rest APIs using .Net Core; 5 years of experience in multiple SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall; 5 years facilitating end to end delivery of the project through effective coordination between onshore and offshore teams; 3 years performing Property & Casualty Insurance domain knowledge.
This position requires domestic travel approximately 50% of an average week.
