Sell strategy, consulting, and technical projects to automate discrete and process manufacturing operations at Fortune 1000 companies.
Lead growth of consulting and technical services in robotics for manufacturing clients
Conduct strategy and consulting projects for robotics in manufacturing
Have oversight and ensure execution of robot implementation
Act as a subject matter expert in robotics with use cases within manufacturing (i.e. machine tending, packaging, packing, picking, palletizing, materials handling, assembly, etc.)
Analyze business problems and create solution implementation roadmap focused on industrial robotics, including quantifying value of solutions, RoI analysis, defining business requirements and key objectives, measuring, and understanding current operations, analyzing data to develop system parameters, and designing concepts
Develop proposals, pricing, working with legal and contracts, and staffing projects for on-time, on-budget, on/above expectations
Bring sole-source proposals and RFPs to close
Meet/exceed sales targets
Lead client engagements across pre-sales, sales, design workshops, project delivery, relationship management
Work across sectors with a focus on consumer goods, manufacturing, retail, automotive, food, and beverage
Be responsible for project delivery, managing schedules, meetings, deliverables, and write-ups
Develop value propositions, frameworks, methodologies to serve clients’ efficiency
Strategically position Accenture services with a differentiated value proposition
Grow Accenture capabilities in manufacturing with robotics
Grow our workforce (including hiring, training current employees) in manufacturing with robotics
Analyze business problems and create a solution implementation roadmap focused on manufacturing with robotics, including quantifying the value of a solution
Leverage your know-how, relationships, and experience in industrial robotics
Collaborate with robotics OEMs to assist in the design or development of robotic automation solutions as well as integrating with the overall solution plan and other platforms like ERP, WMS, and MES
Develop strategic partners with select stakeholders in discrete and process manufacturing automation.
Work across functions such as strategy, operations, software platforms, data and analytics, cloud; across time zones and cultures
Interact with executives, engineers, program managers, IT, procurement, vendors from startup to large companies
Educate and train internal workforce and clients on best practices when manufacturing with robotics
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here's what we need:
- 6+ years’ experience working for an industrial robotics vendor (such as a robot OEM within a service department or for a robot integrator) in a go-to-market capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Administration, or Technology
- Ability to travel 30% as required to industrial sites across North America with occasional travel overseas, at times on short notice
Bonus points if you have:
- MBA or Masters in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering
- Demonstrated thought leadership in manufacturing with robotics
- Strong technical foundation with experience selling robots in industrial environments
- Existing relationship with equipment of industrial robotics vendors and control hardware & software
- Well-rounded with respect to lean manufacturing, automation, industrial process optimization, engineering processes, manufacturing execution systems, operations management
- Familiar with the life cycle of robotics implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence with the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, clients, and partners and quickly understand your audience and tailor the right message to them
As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $193,800 - $288,500 and information on benefits offered is here.
