Accenture Public Health Platform (APHP) Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Austin, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Accenture Public Health Platform (APHP) Application Development Manager in Austin, TX to provide oversight for application development activities for Texas Medicaid project. S/he will perform the following duties: provide technical oversight over Portal development work for various projects at Texas Medicaid; manage development team of about 8 team members working in Agile Scrum teams; provide technical guidance and support overall solution to meet the business needs; perform peer reviews of technical documentation including code and design; provide technical architecture support for Portal applications at Texas Medicaid to enroll providers, submit claims, verify Medicaid eligibility, check claim status inquiry, submit long term care forms, and submit prior authorizations; identify any cross-project impacts and coordinate changes across multiple project teams; identify any trends in technology and work with leadership to upgrade Portal applications; mitigate any risks and resolve any issues which may be blocking items for Portal development; and support Executive Leadership in defining the technology roadmap for portal applications.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field. The position also requires 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Technology Analyst; Systems Analyst; Software Developer or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 5 Years of experience in overseeing junior developers for development of Portal applications based on Microsoft technology; 5 Years of experience with UX/UI interface development using ASP.NET MVC, WebApi, C#, Razor, HTML5, CSS, JS, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, and Bootstrap; 5 Years of experience with design and deployment leveraging SOA, SaaS –WCF, SOAP and REST; 3 Years of experience in performance testing using tools such as HP Loadrunner for both functional and non-functional requirements; and 5 Years of experience with unit testing frameworks using Microsoft Fakes and moq Framework.

Telecommuting is permitted for this role; needs to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office
