Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process outsourcing services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Operations professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. 

 

You Are: 

Accenture is seeking an experienced and dynamic B2B Editor. Dedicated to one of our major clients, you will be tasked with reviewing, proofing, and editing written and digital content in fast-paced marketing environment. You are a natural perfectionist with meticulous and thorough work. You will be responsible for editing creative content across a variety of media, both written and digital.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree, editorial certificate or relevant work experience  
  • Minimum of 6 years of editorial experience 
  • Minimum 5 years experience editing technical case studies and/or b2b material  

 

Bonus Points:  

  • 10+ years of Microsoft experience preferred 

  • Degree in English, journalism, or mass communication preferred 

  • Experience working on Microsoft technology-related content and marketing copy, e.g., Microsoft Azure (platform, DevOps, AI, etc.), Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, security solutions 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft style guides, Chicago Manual of Style, and Microsoft legal, brand, and geopolitical guidelines 

Professional Skills: 

  • Ability to prioritize workloads and shift quickly between projects 

  • Maintains a positive editor-writer relationship, never adversarial or pedantic, and is able to explain/teach/coach writers within edited drafts to help them understand and grow 

  • Can communicate appropriately given the audience; knows when to be flexible and when to hold firm; can address client feedback in a respectful, diplomatic way 

  • Naturally inquisitive with the motivation to research and find answers in numerous style guides, online resources, past drafts, source materials, etc.  

  • Can troubleshoot independently to identify a solution before flagging, escalating, or giving up 

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume creative environments  

  • Ability to manage and hit deadlines even in fluid, high-pressure, high-volume scenarios like Microsoft events 

 

Travel
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $75,650 - $94,799 and information on benefits offered is here.
