Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
As a Risk and Compliance Matrixes Specialist, you will support the risk assessment and control testing execution across key business areas across finance functions such as Record to Report (R2R), Source to Pay (S2P), Payroll, Treasury, and others.
Assist in the following tasks to senior colleagues in the Risk Controls Team
Coordinate with client to establish communications and kick off meetings across stakeholder groups to establish awareness and expectations
Support the area leads with facilitating walkthroughs with control owners to understand business processes and controls
Partner with business stakeholders and process owners to provide recommendations, enhance control language, and provide risk impact of the recommendations
Capture/update the Risk and Control Matrixes (RCMs) and confirm consistency in taxonomy alignment and completeness for Level 3 processes based on the client’s standards for design assessments
Prioritize controls and testing schedule with delivery lead and test lead
Provide weekly status and escalates issues, risks as needed
Must be US based (Austin, TX)
Travel 20% or less
Willingness to work flexible hours, as necessary, in-order to meet monthly and quarterly deliverable deadlines and to provide extended hour customer service support
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Risk Assessment expertise to include Risk and Compliance Matrix management
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
Ability to analyze and evaluate the observations based on compliance, operations, risk model and performance
Strong Excel Skills with experience in manipulating large sets of data
Strong process related skills
Strong stakeholder management
Professional Skill Requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively interact throughout the company
Organized and detail oriented
As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $56,484 - $129,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
