Oracle Cloud Application Development Manager – Austin, TX  

Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for Oracle Cloud Application Development Manager positions in Austin, TX to migrate Accenture owned ABMS (Accenture Benefits Management System) product from current on-prem solution to Oracle cloud Infrastructure. S/he will perform the following duties: work as a middleware expert for migration of current on-prem solution to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; guide and mentor the team of several resources which supports the entire middleware stack of the project; serve as a POC for Application related issue and service management that includes daily Incident Management, Release Management and Problem Management; run the Pre-Release calls for understanding the scope, determining the impact, understanding different components involved, and the type of change being done on the applications; conduct release implement planning for Resource driving the Go no go calls and Post Prod release warranty calls to fix issues raised post release; closely work with Dev team and make them understand the impact of their change request on the entire middleware stack and work on how to manage it; run the Problem Management forum for all the applications, raising the problem tickets and getting the prioritizations and fixes for all the Problems reported; work on plans to create new environment; handle the installation/configuration and management all the middleware stack comprising of Oracle Service Bus/PORTAL/Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition/Service Oriented Architecture and Adobe LiveCycle independently; manage and coordinate the Incidents, Change Requests and Problem Records; work with various vendors to help them get connected with the client infrastructure in a secure way.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology,  Engineering (any), or closely related field; plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of end integration experience of the Oracle Fusion Middleware Stack comprising of Oracle Weblogic Portal, Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Service Bus; 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS services specifically tied to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and Platform as a Service (PaaS service specifically related to ExaCloudService) cloud offerings for implementation of scalable enterprise architectures; 4 years of experience with Address Verification Cloud Service and Oracle Policy Automation Cloud Service; 4 years of  integration experience with the on-premise application stack; 5 years of experience with Virtual Machine migration from on-premise environment to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute to configure the boot, local and object storage; and 3 years of experience  in Workload Automation Scheduling tools like Control-M and Stone branch for migration and scheduling the workload tasks.
