Scrum Master Specialist

People in our Client Delivery & Operations career track drive delivery and capability excellence through the design, development and/or delivery of a solution, service, capability or offering. They grow into delivery-focused roles, and can progress within their current role, laterally or upward.

Agile professionals define an adaptive model based on greater collaboration and communication between teams; Agile is a cultural change that impacts people, processes and tools in different ways across the organization; based on iterative, time boxed and incremental approach, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing and cross-function teams, agile promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery and encourages a rapid and flexible response to change

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems

  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals

  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems

  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers/ and or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance

 



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Scrum Master, working in a scaled environment across multiple scrum teams (4-5 teams minimum) at one time

  • Minimum of 1 Certification from the below list:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

  • Certfied Scrum Professional (CSP)

  • ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
  • IAgile Certified Expert (ICE)
  • Certified SAFe Agilist (SA)
  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands on experience or Knowledge of
  • Scrums of Scrums/Complex ecosystem
  • Agile tool suite background (ie. Jira and Confluence, Rally, Agile Central)
  • In-depth Agile Knowledge
  • Driven and proactive

Racking up those air miles will have to wait, as weekly non-essential travel to client sites Monday through Thursday is currently suspended.  For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.
