Application Development Manager – Florham Park, NJ


Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for Application Development Manager positions in Florham Park, NJ to convert project specifications and statements of problems/procedures into logical flow charts for coding into computer language. S/he will perform the following duties: develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information; write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic; write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment; perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements; perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer; compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program; prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language; conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct; correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced; consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs; consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.




Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in IT position(s) including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience using Pega Smart BPM Suite (Pega V6.1, 6.2, 7.1.8) and utilizing Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC); 5 years of experience creating customized customer solutions using Business Process Management; 5 years of experience utilizing Pega concepts including Access Group, Class Group, Access Roles, Privileges, Setting up SLA, Worklist, Workbasket, Change in Access roles, Agents, and File listeners; 5 years of experience using J2EE, JSP, XML, and Java to triage issues; 5 years of experience using Agile and Scrum methodologies, OOPS concepts, HTML, XML, XHTML, and CSS to develop/maintain/implement/debug enterprise level applications; and 5 years of experience using SOAP, PL/SQL, and Oracle to implement client requirements.
