Application Development Senior Manager  - Charlotte, NC

Job Description: 
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Senior Manager in Charlotte, NC to create work plan and schedules for various phases of Software development life cycle. S/he will perform the following duties: manage resources availability, forecasting and allocation of the tasks and tracking the task to completion; approve and manage vacation plans for the team and manage vacancies; participate in Annual performance management for the team members to represent team member and participate in compensation and promotion evaluation; track milestones of the project and manage the risks and contingencies during the project lifecycle; work with various workstreams of the project to solve the technical impediments encountered during the various phases of software development using development/configuration skills; prepare project health status report, metrics and communication plan for IT leadership and Business stakeholders; define objectives for the team and access the performance of the team members against these measurable objectives; approve Time and expenses of the reporting team members; participate in architecture and design of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application(s); prepare technical design document on CRM and Portal requirements for all business services which are built on Salesforce community; validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements and conduct design review meetings; manage the overall operational, budgetary and financial responsibilities and activities of the business unit; participate in setting strategic direction to establish near-term goals for area of responsibility; interact with client and/or Accenture senior management; negotiating or influencing significant project matters; conduct technical discussions to drive key architectural and design decisions; overseeing sales pursuits; and accomplishing financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Associate Manager, Program / Project Management Associate Manager, Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 3 years of experience conducting project management, including creating project plans and estimates; 5 years of experience implementing software development lifecycle process, including requirements gathering, system design, system and regression testing, and deployment; 3 years of experience leading development and implementation of new Salesforce-based solutions; and 3 years of experience managing delivery teams using Agile delivery methodology.
