Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:   
 
The Content Creation team is looking for a results-oriented writer to be responsible for managing workload across a team of writers, facilitate multi-stage workflows ranging from drafting to reviews to staging and final quality checks and be accountable for the overall quality of team deliverables.

Additionally, the targeted support writer lead will perform the following responsibilities related to these workflows:

 
Email Campaigns
  • Manage and act as backup for writers who manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns
  • Gather stakeholder requirements, make editorial suggestions, set-up email tests, proof, QA, assign lists, get approvals and schedule deployment
  • Define and manage production process while partnering cross-functional leads
  • Build strong relationships effectively with development and cross-functional teams to move projects forward
 
Help Answers
  • Work to distill complex technical concepts and procedures into easy-to-understand, conversational content
  • Write original, high quality communications (e.g. newsletters, email templates, canned responses)
  • Use data to write personalized chat responses for different devices, like phones and speakers, for a 1:1 user-focused experience
  • Write short-form responses with word-count limitations
  • Write original, high quality chat-bot responses and short social posts
  • Create and maintain a list of related


Qualifications

 

 

  • BA/BS degree in English, Communication, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience writing instructional content (e.g. user manuals or guides, support content / instructions)
  • Experience writing short form content with word count limitations
  • Experience writing canned responses for chat clients
  • Experience writing short social posts
  • Experience working with a content management system
  • Experience customizing content for different audiences (e.g. tailoring the same message for a desktop email experience vs a mobile phone experience vs an audio only experience)
