The Control Testing Manager is responsible for participating in all aspects of regulatory compliance testing audits, interacting daily with client test managers, client line of business personnel and offshore testing team members and client account leadership. Day-to-day activities will include coordinating and conducting client planning and process walk through calls, reviewing test objectives to identify relevant regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures, selecting samples, conducting tests and drafting narratives documenting findings and test results. Additional responsibilities will include participating in quality control reviews of team member work and ensuring processes and deliverables are compliant with client guidelines and Accenture Delivery methodology.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

• Five (5) years of Control Risk or Regulatory Compliance experience within the Banking, Capital Markets and/or Insurance industries e.g., Basel Accord, Dodd Frank, FBO, FINRA, SEC, CCAR, etc.

 

• One or both of the following:

 

Two (2) years of first-line or second-line control implementation or testing experience with any of the following major regulatory focus areas:

AML, BSA/Patriot Act, OFAC, SCRA & MLA, REG Z & TILA, FCRA, HMDA, ECOA, Flood insurance

Two (2) years of internal audit experience with any of the major regulatory focus areas:

AML, BSA/Patriot Act, OFAC, SCRA & MLA, REG Z & TILA, FCRA, HMDA, ECOA, Flood insurance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Solid understanding of Risk Management areas, control testing, risk and control assessment process and audit fundamentals

• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, systems and controls and the functions responsible for execution of those controls

• Knowledge of key Financial Institution regulations and background with the Financial Services Industry

• Regulatory guidance and compliance environments, assurance activities and supporting projects

• Control evaluation: Test of Design, Test of Effectiveness

• Effectively reviewing and evaluating risk and compliance process and control environments

• Interpreting and applying regulatory rules to practical scenarios and helping to devise compliant, commercially acceptable solutions

• Principles of risk management, especially in relation to regulatory and customer focused risks

• Wider business and regulatory environment, and the ability to understand the potential impacts of market and regulatory changes

• Strong understanding of front and back office financial institution operations

• Any of the following certifications: ACAMS, CRCM, CAFP, CERP, CRCP, CUCE
