Corporate Functions – Marketing & Communications

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

YOUR ROLE: Marketing Manager

While there will never be a typical day at Accenture, here’s a look at some of your responsibilities:
  • Direct the design and execution of Accenture marketing activities for North America Innovation, targeted to primarily client and external audiences.
  • Design programs aligned to the North American Innovation business strategy and coordinate with local marketing leads (including external agencies and contractors) to execute targeted programs/campaigns.
  • Provide strategic counsel to entity leadership. Track program execution including metrics and measurement.
The single biggest priority for NA Marketing for Accenture is driving awareness, buzz and traffic among clients to our network of 11 Innovation Hubs.  This program is called “Innovation 3.0.”  For this role you will be working under the Director of Innovation Marketing for North America and with the Marketing Leaders and local city market leads for North America (who also carry other responsibilities).  You will be responsible for helping implement the North America “Innovation 3.0” marketing strategy, helping create and execute content and campaigns at a national level and then localize them across all select cities with Innovation Hubs.  You will also be responsible for driving input and adoption of the Accenture 3.0 marketing program across all 11 of Accenture’s Innovation Hubs and all Accenture Operating Groups. Collaborating with regional and local marketers, you will help create a marketing tool-kit that enables Innovation Hubs to deliver relevant and engaging client experiences.

Metrics driven, you will challenge the status quo and combine traditional and digital marketing channels to help us to break through the noise and engage attention-starved C-level executives with Accenture’s largely under-appreciated capabilities in the “innovation” space. You measure success not only in share of voice or content consumed but hold yourself accountable for driving pipeline and revenue, naturally partnering with sales and account management to maximize campaign impact. No stranger to complex matrix organizations, you will build bridges and persevere in collaborating across groups to integrate marketing efforts, presenting one unified Accenture to potential and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Own execution of marketing campaigns driving awareness and demand, including
    • Events (national to regional, large to intimate)
    • Immersive experiences
    • Paid media/search/social
    • Social media
    • Sales enablement
  • The above requires strong collaboration with:
    • Accenture marketing entities (corporate, geographies/regions, target industries, target functions, offerings)
    • Accenture approved agencies
    • Accenture senior business stakeholders (target industries, target functions, offerings)
    • Measure impact and continuously optimize campaigns and their execution
    • Manage budgets
    • Adhere to applicable policies and procedures
