The successful candidate will be a managing director in Accenture Federal Services (AFS) and the General Manager and Client Account Leader (CAL) in the Defense Portfolio. The CAL has accountability for all aspects of the Accenture business relationship with the federal client. This includes overall sales and P&L growth, balance and quality of services across the service lines, maintaining relationships with and ensuring the satisfaction of the federal client, building and maintaining a high performing, highly engaged account team, and building high performance delivered credentials in line with Accenture’s brand positioning. The focus is on bringing the best of Accenture to the client; building the right mix and combination of teams and capabilities and understanding client challenges and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a hands-on leader, be entrepreneurial by nature and bring passion and proven ability for growing businesses and winning in the market
  • 15 years of experience in consulting and general management growing large-scale process-led IT transformation and/or applications outsourcing, and business process outsourcing businesses
  • Strong relationships across federal client leadership and buying commands
  • Department “fluency and literacy” about the major issues (e.g. budget, priorities, etc.), competitors, and key market trends
  • Ability to drive rigorous, fact-based analysis of client business problems that align well to the company’s performance drivers and proves/disproves hypotheses; helping others develop solutions

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
