Corporate Functions – Marketing & Communications

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

 

YOUR ROLE:  Total Rewards Lead


This role focuses on Total Rewards communications—specifically financial rewards and health/well-being benefits. It includes advising and working closely with Accenture’s global Total Rewards leadership team on designing and executing communications strategies and campaigns in key areas that can include compensation, bonus, equity, share purchase programs, and health/wellness benefits. Continually finding new ways to integrate the Total Rewards story into our over career experience is a must. And that means occasionally being part of communication initiatives across the broad scope of HR People Communications, beyond Total Rewards.

You are a seasoned storyteller who is energized by innovation. The challenge of digging in, navi-gating ambiguity and creating new ways of messaging excites you. You enjoy taking complex content and turning it into powerful communication messages. Working with senior leaders isn’t new to you, and your collaboration and analytical skills are top-notch. You understand that cultures are different around the world and can guide and create communications appropriately—with an eye for detail. You strategize with others and can stay on top of your priorities without prodding. 
 
The work… is mainly focused on Total Rewards and centers on the need to:

 

  • Drive communications to build awareness and understanding of Accenture’s Total Rewards programs—ultimately serving to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Design and deliver compelling narratives demonstrating how the Total Rewards we offer recognize people’s unique skills, contributions and career progression, letting them share in the success they bring, and providing relevant and meaningful ways to take care of them and their family.
  • Ensure Total Rewards content is integrated in other communication activities where appropriate… this content should not sit in a silo but rather be part of our talent brand story.
  • Build strong relationships while collaborating with colleagues across a global organization (including Corporate Communications, global and local Human Resources teams).
  • Provide strategic and tactical communications advice to leaders.
  • Be willing to jump in on a wide range of communications tasks, learn new tools and not be afraid to take initiative.

 

This role is part of Accenture’s People Communications team and works with global HR and in close partnership with the Talent Brand team, to create communication strategies, approaches and campaigns spanning Accenture’s culture, performance achievement, leadership development, learning opportunities, career transitions, and total rewards. Qualifications


YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with employee communications, ideally working with HR and Total Rewards content


SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills


  • Experience with communication strategy, planning and execution.
  • Bonus points if you have design thinking certification.

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
