Job Description
Accenture is looking for a world class Reverse Logistics Planning Operations Manager to help drive forward its planning capabilities and processes for client hardware products. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in planning.
 
Daily responsibilities include:
  • Lead a global team of reverse logistics and planning analysts to provide accurate and insightful returns forecasts and demand models for various products
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams ensuring service needs are fully covered
  • Sales Operations, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Operations.
  • Manage finished goods pristine and refurbished inventory for warrantyrequirements to maximize customer service levels and mitigate excess and obsolescence risks.
  • Partner closely with Service Components Planning team to align on parts demand forecast, short term and long-term procurement decisions.
  • Establish a clear and effective relationship with the regional operations leads to follow up on repair plans, changes in demand, inventory management and backorders resolution.
  • Analyze patterns and trends in data and help drive continuous process improvements
  • Front end with client and help develop new solutions, processes and tools as necessary to support client needs and requirements on an ongoing basis
  • Deploy analytics and lead innovation on operating model, training methodologies, business metrics measurements and reporting
  • Successful service delivery, SLA achievement and high level of operational service delivery
  • Service reporting and sponsoring service delivery meetings
  • Follow up if service delivery is not meeting expectations
  • Collaborate with senior management on client account management and growth
  • Create and deliver offshoring plans for complex supply chain operations
  • Hire and mobilize planning teams for high complexity supply chain processes
  • Identify and deliver productivity savings through RPA

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations (Procurement, Planning, Analytics, or Logistics)
  • 4 years of demand planning and forecasting
  • 1 year of experience in reverse logistics supply chain operations
  • 2 years of team management (hiring, coaching and mentoring, disciplinary action, etc)
  • 2 years in process optimization and automation
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or degree in Supply Chain or a technical field
  • Management consulting experience
  • Experience in supply chain analytics
  • Experience in managing customer centric programs in a technology or a related field
  • KPI and metrics design
  • Experience in offshoring, hiring and mobilization of global operations teams
  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle ever changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Exposure to use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in supply chain planning and forecasting
  • Proven experience in process redesign, innovation and robotic process automation
 
Professional Skills Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel Spreadsheet skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, ability to front end with clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to lead and work in a fast paced, dynamic, and global environment.
