Agile professionals define an adaptive model based on greater collaboration and communication between teams; Agile is a cultural change that impacts people, processes and tools in different ways across the organization; based on iterative, time boxed and incremental approach, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing and Cross-Function teams, Agile promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery and encourages a rapid and flexible response to change.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients and Accenture team members during the client's journey to NEW IT to understand, architect, plan, and manage a holistic Agile transformation road map, utilizing Agile principles and leading practices, to support the client's vision & strategy
  • Utilize design thinking methods and techniques with our clients and Accenture team members to rethink how clients deliver value using agile methods, mindsets and operating models to more rapidly respond to dynamic market conditions
  • Ability to articulate key differences and value drivers between traditional delivery and transformational agile delivery
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of core Agile principles, methodologies & transformation strategies
  • Lead workshops & training sessions to educate individuals on Agile values, principles, and practices, in particular as pertains to SAFe
  • Mentor and pair with change agents and stakeholders within client organizations on becoming Lean-Agile champions and developing lasting Agile capabilities
  • Launch Agile release trains and help the Program/ART reduce lead-time and improve flow of value
  • Coach and mentor more junior team members on influencing organizational change and removing transformational impediments
  • Understand and manage client expectations to enable a successful partnership between client and Accenture teams
  • Build strong and lasting client relationships

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within scaled Agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the full software life-cycle process for a large organization
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in 1 or more of the following: DevOps, SDLC Automated Build Processes, Test Driven Development, Test Automation, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and the associated software tool sets
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Scrum Professional/Master
  • Experience applying Agile scaling frameworks in large organizations
  • Consulting experience
  • SAFe Scaled Agilest Certification
  • Scrum Alliance Certification
  • International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) Certification
  • DevOps tools (Example- Jenkins, etc.)

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Collaborative; strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with clients to complete an assessment of Agile maturity
  • Excellent communicator; executive level communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to mentor others

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment with effective consulting skills
  • Proven track record to quickly understand the key value drivers of a business, how they impact the scope and approach of the engagement
