Role Responsibilities


The Disbursements & Card Programs Associate Manager:

  • Manages the day to day activities of the Disbursements P Card/T Card teams
  • Defines the strategic goals for all card programs by overseeing responsibility for all activities related to a client’s travel booking process, web-enable expense reimbursement system, card program and P Card infrastructure processes
  • Ensure the timeliness, accuracy and integrity of the periodic download of information form the P Card provider and the systems to the PeopleSoft AP tool
  • Works with considerable independence to develop operating plans and related operational processes in alignment with broader business objectives
  • Interacts with client leadership and client properties to increase usage of the P Card tool to maximize the benefits of reduced paper volume and increased rebate potential, while continually looking for ways to improve the services offered
  • Works to provide effective travel booking and reimbursement processes as well as analyzes trends and opportunities to maximize the efficiencies and economies of both
  • Analyzes Card Program spending patterns and provides information to facilitate compliance with Card Program policies by the individual business owners, which is completed by looking at best practices in the card industry and using financial models to measure the effectiveness of these programs
  • Provides other adhoc report requests to key business partners
  • Works with various business clients to grow the Card Programs to extend them to clients who do not use the Card Program services, especially outside the United States
  • Identifies opportunities for future contract negotiations with Accenture vendors related to Card Programs which requires analysis of contract financials and participation in the negotiations with Accenture vendors related to Card Programs
  • Analyzes contract financials and acts as key participant in negotiations and measurement of the contract offerings
  • Maintains relationship between a client and their vendors to maximize the value of these relationships 


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in finance accounting operations, primarily Accounts Payable
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a five-person team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
