Program Specialist Services professionals provide project-based support services within centers. These professionals support the delivery and execution of our key projects with specialized services.

Job Description
The Project Control Services Associate Manager leads and provides support to Accenture teams to plan, assess and design the financial reporting and tracking of different projects (Technology, Commercial, Outsourcing, Consulting). Create, implement and manage a program office function in support of the execution of delivery or product work. Monitor and report progress to key stakeholders. May have responsibilities for the financial and operational management.


A professional at this position within Accenture has the following responsibilities spread across the PMO capability areas:

  • Define and maintain standards for project management within the organization
  • Provide for documentation, guidance and metrics on the program/project
  • Oversee the work on financial tracking & reporting work for the program/project
  • Create work plans, tracking and analytics for the program/project execution keeping all key stakeholders accountable for their milestones, critical paths and delivery
  • Lead Project Control Services teams at the portfolio level (Internal Accenture Teams responsible for Financials, Forecasting, Staffing, Onboarding across various accounts)
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of management dashboards and executive summaries
  • Drive/Lead the transformational changes across an organization's ecosystem in order to be successful given client objectives (client’s PM processes)
  • Develop, Maintain and Create new relationships with clients based on trust and experience
  • May assess and communicate project / program management status aligning Technology Delivery Center Strategy with required planning and mobilization
  • Communicate project / program management status to different stakeholders as required
  • Process Workflow Management from ticketing, workload assignment, and risk and issue management

Applicants for this role must reside in the Metro Nashville area or be able to relocate at their own cost.  This role may involve up to 100% work week travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience leading and managing PM as a Service within the IT Industry
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with PM Tools and Technologies (JIRA, TFS, VSTS, SNOW, RTC etc) and MS Office Suite including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Project, MS Project Server and Project Web Access
  • A minimum of one year of experience setting up and managing teams
  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
