Technology Consulting Manager – Houston, TX
Accenture LLP seeks a Technology Consulting Manager in Houston, TX to lead innovation via digital technology. S/he will perform the following duties: work in disruptive digital environment using complex technologies, including Industry X.0, Automation, Real Time Analytics, Process Optimization, and Digital Manufacturing; gather and analyze functional and technical requirements; provide guidance on technical aspects related to Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems and their interfaces with external applications; identify and document project scope; develop project estimate and team activities, and control project risks; plan and direct work of team members by monitoring their work in terms of quality, cost and time, and taking corrective actions when necessary; contribute to assets and offerings development; and enhance Accenture's marketplace reputation by producing technical publications and presenting Accenture solutions to clients. This position requires domestic travel to client sites 80% of the average work week.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in IT position, including the following professional experience: 5 years of functional requirement gathering, specification, and design; 5 years of software test planning and execution, including management of on-shore and off-shore teams; 5 years of experience with ANSI/ISA95 and MESA Business to Manufacturing Markup Language (B2MML) standards; and 5 years performing vertical integration between SAP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Historians, and Control Systems, using the following applications: AspenTech Infoplus.21, AspenTech SQLPlus, AspenTech Production Record Manager, AspenTech Recipe Explorer, and Honeywell Alarm Manager.
