The Project Manager will be responsible for using and manipulating MS Project files, to include data residing in multiple complex sub-projects residing both locally and on remote server locations. The Project Manager will also be responsible for receiving, formatting, de-conflicting, and integrating multiple sub-project data sets (in MS Excel and MS Project formats) into MS Project based IMS on a regular, defined schedule.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Create, modify, and filter network schedules from various information sources
  • Collect and analyze schedule data to assist with planning, decision making and program evaluation
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance analysis of schedule data to ensure integrity of related data links in an environment of ongoing and continuous schedule data change
  • Conduct weekly schedule update engagement sessions with each of the  Assistant Program Managers and Schedule POC
  • Provide ad hoc support to IMS Lead in development and publication of standard and tailored schedule products
  • Define and communicate impacts of schedule variance on schedule critical path, near critical paths, task/activity float, and impacts of changes on linked/related program tasks/activities & risks

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience managing/integrating highly complex project schedules
  • 3-5 years of Microsoft Project skills
  • 3-5 years experience with Visual basic coding and scripting
  • Strong Quality Assurance and Risk management experience
  • Must have strong presentation/communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Data analytics experience preferred

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
