Role description: Work with the business to define technical and functional requirements. Assess the security architecture, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals as defined by the long term direction. Work with other architects and leads to ensure that the security components security technology, operations, and management are integrated as defined in the requirements. Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the security components:  security technology, operations, and management . Review and assist with integration of the security architecture requirements for production and sub production environments. Review and assist with integration of all non-functional requirements, including technical,and operations requirements. Participate in decisions regarding hardware, network products, and software for security architecture. Participate in decisions regarding software design architecture. Participate in the security architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the product fulfills the requirements. When applicable, work with the solution integration architect on these tasks. Work with the support unit to determine how the application is supported in production, including back ups, disaster recovery, system performance, and project management. Obtain stakeholder buy in for designs. Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements. Review security architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability. Identify and communicate any cross area or cross release issues that affect other project areas. Ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews. Make sure that the security components interact to fulfill the requirements and meet performance goals. Participate in confirming the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables. Assist with Resolution of any inconsistencies discovered.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with enterprise, infrastructure, or application security architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud architectures and API web-services delivery, risks, and controls.  
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Preferred Skill Requirements:
- Information Systems Security Architect Professional (ISSAP) or Information - Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) or similar certification preferred 
- Application Development background preferred
- Ability to identify and define security architecture components as new requirements arise 
- Ability to define the complete security infrastructure environment 
- Ability to interact communicate with business effectively 
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant security technology, operations, management developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit the business 
- Ability to assemble and test security components 
- Ability to provide technical leadership on client engagement, including serving as a resource to the project team and the client by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues 
- Ability to create security architecture scope, definition, construction, and execution 
- Ability to design and develop cost effective security solutions that meet functional, technical, and performance requirements 
- Ability to map business requirements to technology capability 
- Ability to identify gaps and omissions in the end to end solution 
- Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement 
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards 
- Ability to provide security expertise to project resources and the client to meet project deadlines and ensure that project objectives are met 
- Ability to consult with and develop resources for methods, procedures, and standards to use during design, and unit testing phases of the project 
- Ability to document and communicate the status of progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
