Are you willing to come and shape the future of technology? At Liquid Studios we are part of Accenture innovation architecture working on helping companies understand how to apply bleeding edge technologies like AI, IoT or Blockchain to their business.

The studio is typically working on short projects (our engagements usually last less than 12 weeks) from the heart of Manhattan in New York. Our engagements use the latest of Dev-ops, agile and serverless to make sure that we deliver the value in no time.

 

Job Description

As a dev-ops engineer you will be responsible of setting the infrastructure and the build pipelines of innovative applications in areas like blockchain, AI or IoT. You will be participating in 2-3 projects at the same time.

Your day to days tasks will include participating in the daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives, build the infrastructure needed for the project (servers, communications) and prepare the CI/CD pipeline for the development team

Basic Qualifications 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment and management using Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Ant, Ivy, Urban Code, Ansible, Docker, or comparable tools.
  • Well-grounded understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Functional scripting programming experience in one or more of the following languages – Python, Ruby, Bash e.t.c
  • Minimum 1 year experience in any of the following compiled languages and Web Frameworks– Java, .NET, Node JS, Angular JS, e.t.c
  • Minimum 1 year experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
  • Experience working with Amazon AWS or Azure and their respective line of products like EC2, S3, etc)
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and distributed infrastructure.
