Technology professionals implement and lead highly complex technology projects. Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive high performance. These professionals may build, test, install and maintain software across a variety of projects and industries, working with leading enterprise applications such as SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle or with custom-built applications, and they are involved in a wide range of challenging global technology projects.

 

The SAP Portal Administrator will be required to provide technical expertise in support of SAP applications (especially SAP Enterprise Portal) and Adobe LiveCycle application. They will develop a thorough understanding of various SAP applications and the technical architecture by learning to install and configure SAP Portal to upgrade and/or apply fixes. This role expects one to manage his/her own learning curve by aggressively utilizing other team members' experiences and learning materials to come up to speed and deliver an optimal solution that supports the client's business process and meets or exceeds functional requirements.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support technical implementation of the software product delivery
  • Execute Performance/Stress Test (PST) Cycles
  • Resolve technical issues encountered
  • Build/Install/Configure of SAP applications in different environments
  • Implement Support Pack and Kernel Upgrades
  • Develop detailed technical documentations
  • Perform Transports/Backfills

The primary work site will be in San Antonio Delivery Center (SADC) with expectation of support from Monday through Friday each week including weekend as necessary. Very strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred as team members work in different locations and candidate will be working with resources from the client, Accenture and other sub-contracting companies to complete their duties. The ability to independently manage workload is crucial to succeed in this role.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree or relevant IT Certification or Completion of Transitioning Military SAP Training Program or 2 years of related work experience
  • US Citizen – no dual citizenship
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1 year Windows Server/UNIX/LINUX experience
  • 1 year Testing/deployment experience
  • 1 year SAP Netweaver experience/skills
  • Security+ certification

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
