Location: Hartford, CT
Hours/Shift: Day
Expected Project Duration: 12 months
 
 
Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design DWBI Solutions using Ab Initio tool - work with architects, business stakeholders, engineering teams and project leadership to understand the requirements for DWBI projects and come up with optimal design 
  • Code DWBI Solutions using Ab Initio 
  • Assess current landscape of DWBI solution and provide recommendations 
  • Prepare Blueprint for DWBI projects - assess architecture, tools and technologies and come up with recommendations 
  • Participate in meetings with business stakeholders, enterprise architects and data architects to assess business needs and come up with solutions, best practices, data quality guidelines, data management frameworks 
  • Work with offshore to get the work done and meet delivery deadlines. 
  • Provide status to project leadership on regular basis
Basic Qualifications: 
  • HS Diploma
  • 5+ years ETL Development Experience
  • 3+ Years Ab Initio Experience

Preferred Qualifications: 


Experience with any of the following:

    • .NET Programming Language
    • Data Warehouse Tools
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Python Scripting
    • Teradata BI
