Accenture Talent and Organization offers a comprehensive, analytics based approach to identifying workforce needs considering business goals, collaborating with clients to dramatically improve performance through integrated talent, HR and organization change services.  This position is aligned within our Health and Public Service operating unit and will work with clients in the Health, Public Service, and Education industry areas.

Responsibilities of the HR Shared Services Architect include but are not limited to:

  • Translates the strategic direction and business objectives established by clients into holistic change strategies.
  • Leverages Accenture’s methods, tools, and assets to design solutions for moderately complex organizational change challenges.
  • Collaborates with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters such as aligning on target business outcomes and approaches.
  • Confirms deliverables, resource needs, and work plans on new assignments with limited guidance from their Accenture supervisor.
  • Manages small to medium size teams and oversees team work activities to achieve milestones, quality deliverables and business outcomes.
  • Uses considerable judgment to drive day to day change activities while providing the appropriate levels of support and coaching for Accenture and/or client team members.
  • Effectively leverages their direct Accenture supervisor to help mitigate risks and resolve complex challenges before they become issues.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with clients and Accenture executives.
  • Understands stakeholder engagement, organization alignment, change planning, change measurement and communication requirements for a largescale transformation.

Job Description:

Lead role focused in design, testing, and implementation of a HR Shared Service Center.  Assist with project management tasks, including planning, reporting, and risk management.  Act as Solution Architect for future state Shared Service Center and Service Management Framework.  Provide subject matter advisory to design teams around leading HR Shared Service processes and technology design.  Lead design and customer playback sessions.  Coordinate with HR Organization Design team to ensure successful HR Transformation.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of external consulting experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Change Management experience in one or more of the following areas: communications, stakeholder engagement, organizational design, training, business readiness, adoption/change measurement, etc.
  • Shared Service Center design and launch experience
  • Knowledge of HR business processes and service delivery leading practices
  • Experience with Shared Service Center technology e.g., IVR, case management
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience that includes project plan development and tracking
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred Skills:
  • Largescale and/or global project experience
  • Organizational design experience
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication written and oral and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
