In this role, you will be part of our senior leadership team driving growth for Accenture Distribution & Marketing Services in North America and expected to work seamlessly within Accenture and with our Financial Services clients to create new ideas, work directly with the clients to flesh out these ideas, and help clients bring these ideas to reality. 
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Visionary with strategy and delivery focus – ranging from how ideas/offerings can disrupt/propel our client’s business to setting strategic directionexpectations with clients and supervisors to establish near term goals for area of responsibility
    • Develop digital and multi-channel digital marketing strategies for clients
    • Strong analytics and ability to craft value propositions and business cases
    • An architect - Drives growth in new and existing clients by designing ideas, solutions, or services to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of client’s organizational objectives and demonstrates to work creatively and analytically (strong diagnostic skills).
    • Be a thought-leader in Industry challenges, trends, solutions, economics
    • Business Operations accountability: Ensure smooth, on-time, on-budget delivery of services to our client while ensuring sound commercials for Accenture
    • Lead client assessment portion of strategy engagements, develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive level
    • Develop the requirements to implement the strategy
  • Possesses strong executive presence and credibility at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters; be a trusted advisor
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments and is comfortable with fast paced projects and high-pressure settings 
  • Has the flexibility to be capable of working independently as well as managing large teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.
  • Ability to enter new client environments and produce results using practical skills that are easily transported between different industries


Basic Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or FinTech industries
  • Minimum of 7 years of prior experience defining, planning or leading transformational initiatives in a consulting or professional services firm(s) or as part of corporate strategy or transformational initiatives 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in customer experience, traditional and digital marketing, sales, or service
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Ability to travel 80% to 100%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Preferred Skills:
  • Core management consulting skills including:
    • Visioning workshop facilitation
    • Client interviews / focus groups
    • Problem-solving
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, Story-telling
    • Quantitative & qualitative value-case development
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous/start-up environment as the business develops and scales 
  • Understanding of broader CMO/CDO agenda and how digital fits within the overall marketing scope 
  • Experience with defining high level enterprise digital architectures, and applying digital marketing and development best practices to support strategy recommendations 
  • Experience with developing large scale strategy for global solutions for Fortune 500 clients,
  • Experience partnering with advertising/marketing agencies a plus 
  • Traditional and digital marketing and customer analytics (next best action)
  • MBA from a leading business school
  • Distribution strategy and operating model design and roadmap formation
    • Lead and referral management
    • Omni-channel distribution models and digital sales / ecommerce
    • Marketing operating model
    • Branch model / format design / network planning
    • Direct distribution models (digital and contact center) strategy and transformation

    • Sales origination and professional services selling
    • Distribution experience with artificial intelligence (AI), chatbots, robotic process automation (RPA), connected insurance
