We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare IT data standards expert with comprehensive knowledge of good architectural practices in big data technologies, requirements analysis and business stakeholder interactions. Will support efforts at HL7 work group projects, technical requirements analysis, HL7 mapping, device integration and HL7 interface work. Successful candidate should have strong working knowledge of clinical classification systems, HL7 data standards, and familiarity with relevant clinical data and terminologies such as SNOMED and LOINC. Domain knowledge of clinical care systems and life sciences intersecting clinical care is a must.

The successful candidate must possess excellent writing and presentation skills, diplomacy skills, and work to ensure that all project documentation is completed. 

Travel is required on a moderately frequent basis; however, the position will sit remote. 

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of experience in  Healthcare IT data standards HL7

10+ years of experience in technical architecture

5+ years of experience with open source computer programming languages 

 Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable 

Professional Skill Requirements

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

Desire to work in an information systems environment 

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 

Excellent leadership and management skills
