Finance professionals prepare and interpret financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including internal financial controls, to mitigate risk for the company. May also shape and execute client deals to maximize the use of Accenture's capital and resources, manage cash and/or liaise with the investor community.

Job Description

  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory filings with the Securities Exchange Commission, including preparing financial statement footnote and MD&A disclosures
  • Prepare and manage the communication and receipt of internal deliverables needed to complete SEC filings by the required deadlines
  • Prepare and review XBRL tags and assist with taxonomy updates and migration
  • Ensure regulatory filings are relevant and meet current requirements, through the review of US GAAP/SEC disclosure requirements, research of competitor filings, etc.
  • Assist with satisfying external auditor requirements, including the coordination of required deliverables and responding to questions as necessary
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly presentations for Executive Leadership, including obtaining and reviewing underlying support
  • Work with external vendors (such as third-party software provider, printer) effectively to support the external reporting process
  • Assist in various ad hoc assignments (e.g. pension accounting, annual fair value study), and other regulatory filings (e.g.  Irish Statutory filing, Proxy, Annual Report, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Finance/Accounting experience (including public accounting experience)
  • CPA
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous financial accounting experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • PC literate (e.g. working knowledge of MS Office Programs)
  • Webfilings/Workiva experience preferred

 Role Requirements:
  • No travel required, overtime could be required during quarters
