The San Antonio Delivery Center is part of the Accenture's US Delivery Center organization, which is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions.

The Performance Test Specialist is responsible for the following:
  • Define Performance Test Strategy for system under test
  • Create Performance Test Plan.
  • Be able to explain Performance Test concepts to project leadership
  • Train junior team members on Performance Test Methodology and Tools
  • Identify bottlenecks in system under test
  • Act as a liaison between the development and testing teams
  • Ensure that Performance Testing is adhering to the test methodology
  • Draft reviews for team members
  • Create\improve testing methodology as needed
  • Report metrics and make release recommendations to leadership
The Performance Test Specialist should have an in-depth understanding of testing including theory and concepts.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience Performance testing using industry accepted tools such as LoadRunner, Rational Performance Tester, JMeter or other.
  • 1+ year work in a position responsible for defining performance, planning and/or strategy
  • US Citizen Required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle activities

  • Programming Experience
  • Team Leadership Experience
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
