In this role you will assist in the compilation of budgets for US Federal indirect organizations using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, and other data sources to assist organizational leaders in establishing and managing to their budgets.  You will also prepare indirect forecasts through leadership input and analyzing trends in headcount, labor, and non-labor costs for both the pool and base of indirect pools.  Success in this role will be measured by being able to work closely with organizational leaders to understand the root cause of variances between actual results and plans/forecasts and provide variance commentary in the monthly close process and leadership reporting.
 Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in a finance role focused on forecasting and budgeting
  • 1 year of Government Contracting experience
  • US Citizenship
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working on indirect rate reporting and analysis, particularly around forward pricing rate proposals
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
