Job Description:

Industry Strategy professionals provide a point of view on historical industry drivers of high performance. Evaluate/diagnose client capabilities to achieve high performance in an industry sector and identify improvement opportunities. Understand future industry drivers of high performance and articulate strategies.


Insurance Strategy professionals help clients analyze capital markets trends and value drivers, and develop strategies and solutions to secure or maintain high performance.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.


Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.

Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.

Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.


Play a wide variety of roles related to delivery and sales, shaping solutions for clients and maintaining and growing industry as their center of gravity; Provide advisory guidance on industry leading practices for Medicaid member engagement, incentive plans, and business processes.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years Medicaid experience; specifically Medicaid business process design, member engagement management, and incentive program design and implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulations required; Candidate must be able to provide advisory guidance on industry leading practices
  • Experience managing a health plan desired as well as Medicaid operations experience and background
  • Ability to meet travel requirements when applicable; Location for this role is negotiable 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
