The Scrum Master serves multiple scrum teams, facilitating understanding and practice of the principles of scrum, Agile development, and the Accenture Software Product Engineering methodology in pursuit of delivering quality software products to our clients. The Scrum master is responsible for coordinating and scheduling team ceremonies, coaching scrum team members on scrum and methodology techniques and practices, tracking and reporting scrum team status to stakeholders and leadership, and resolving impediments to the success of the teams projects. Work with cross functional staff to identify and implement process improvements. Complete Project status reports Manage feature project merge integration schedules. Ensure issues, priorities and tasks are tracked appropriately in agile tools. Ensure system integrity and assist with monitoring strategies.  Ability to garner respect from his her team and be willing to get his her hands dirty to get the job done. Must be able to communicate well with teams. Must be able to lead and demonstrate value add Agile principles to a team. Must have the ability to coach and referee agile teams to ensure Agile Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority and willing to make the tough calls. Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management Must have high energy and self driven attitude. Must continually be growing ones craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team. Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches. Must be able to lead a team to self organization Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust.
Basic Qualifications  
- Minimum 5 years experience within structured software development 
- Minimum 3 years experience serving teams as scrum master fostering process adoption 
- Minimum 2 years tracking and reporting status for project teams 
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred skills 
- Scrum master certification
Experience with scaling agile development, preferably with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)  
- Understand basic fundamentals of iterative software development
- Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team enterprise - Team Foundation Server or equivalent work item tracking experience 
- Some Mortgage Industry knowledge

- Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team 
- Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics 
- Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
- Familiarity with common Agile practices, service oriented environments, and better development practices

- Excellent communication verbal and written  
- Competent meeting facilitation 
- Effective interaction with senior management 
- Ability to maintain working relationships with persons at all levels within the organization
