Leonardo Framil is the market unit lead of Accenture in Latin America. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Leonardo has more than 25 years of experience in consulting, having worked with the main financial institutions in Latin America in banking, insurance and capital markets segments. Before taking his current position, he was the senior executive director and leader of the Financial Services practice in the region.
Under Leonardo’s leadership, Accenture has made eight local acquisitions. And Accenture in Latin America has grown from 27,000 people to over 35,000 and has received several external recognitions for its innovation, including from Forbes, LIDE, Conarec, Whow and 100 Open Startups.
Leonardo has served as a member of the board or council for entities including the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil and Brasscom, as well as non-profit organizations such as the United Way Brazil, Instituto Ayrton Senna and Gerando Falcões.
Leonardo joined Accenture in 1992 and became a managing director in 2001. He has a postgraduate degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and a master's degree in finance from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC).
