My role requires ongoing interacting with the Avanade, Microsoft and Accenture sales and delivery teams, cross-capability and cross-industry teams. It’s like an adventure of a lifetime – being part of three different organizations in unison.
The ability to directly influence a sale is something that I am most proud of. I work with clients across industries, facing unique challenges, and I am constantly on the lookout for opportunities to innovate and provide solutions to help address their challenges. The different innovation contests and workshops run by Accenture help immensely and demonstrate how serious we are about innovation.
One of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on is for a large resources company based in the United States Our client manufactures chemicals used by their customers for clean water, leading to what they call ‘sustenance living.' Typically, it would take customers about 14 days lead time to assess water quality through field agents. We proposed an innovative image recognition technique built on our capabilities using data, AI and Azure. This enabled field agents to do real-time reporting on water contamination, reducing lead time from 14 days to just 15 minutes.
Outside of work, I love traveling, understanding different cultures and sampling interesting food with my wife. I also enjoy playing football and badminton, as it gives me so much balance and happiness. I also like reading about current affairs, politics and international policies that define how we live, trade and exchange ideas with each other.
