Summary:
E Invoicing & Statutory Reporting (SAP DRC) is a functional and solution consultant role responsible for designing, implementing, SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions for invoicing and statutory reporting in SAP implementation and transformation projects.
The role works closely with Tax, Finance, Compliance, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into robust SAP DRC designs and operating models
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and lead implementation of e invoicing and VAT/GST returns, annexures, SAF T, EC listings, Intrastat, withholding tax reports, and other country specific statutory reports scenarios using SAP DRC.
Define document compliance rules, mandatory data elements, validations, and error handling mechanisms within SAP.
Govern electronic invoice lifecycle management, including creation, submission, acknowledgment, rejection, cancellation, and archiving.
Ensure compliance with invoice formats, numbering, QR codes, digital signatures, and audit trail requirements.
Ensure reconciliation and consistency between invoices, statutory reports, tax returns, and FI accounting records.
Work closely with SAP Finance (FI), SD/MM invoices, and tax engines to ensure accurate data sourcing and reporting.
Lead workshops, reviews, and compliance design discussions with stakeholders.
Translate regulatory requirements into clear functional specifications and SAP DRC configurations.
Oversee SIT, UAT, compliance testing, and reconciliation with tax authority expectations.
Support cutover, go live, hypercare, and post go live compliance stabilization.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong hands on and solution lead experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
Deep knowledge of e invoicing, digital reporting, and statutory compliance concepts.
Strong understanding of VAT / GST principles, including cross border and multi country scenarios.
Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance, SD/MM invoicing processes, and tax integration
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private) compliance scenarios.
Experience with tax authority portals, certified e invoicing providers, and middleware integrations.
Background in financial services, shared services, or large enterprise environments.
Familiarity with document lifecycle management, reporting controls, and audit frameworks
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 9 years of experience in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Tax, Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
