Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior System Analyst to support the environment and infrastructure needs of AML systems in the Comp Tech domain. The candidate will play a key role in supporting AML application environments, performing basic scripting and development, and assisting with integration, monitoring, and system maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in system support and technical operations in Unix/Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the setup, configuration, patching, and maintenance of AML application environments (Unix, Linux, Windows).
Assist in connectivity setup and troubleshooting across application, database, and middleware layers.
Develop and maintain automation and support scripts using Unix shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
Perform database queries and maintenance using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Support backend components and simple development tasks in Java.
Monitor and manage job schedules using tools like Control-M.
Support data transfers and integrations using SFTP, Connect:Direct, and IBM MQ.
Collaborate with teams for deployment, troubleshooting, and incident management.
Use version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Aldon for code and release tracking.
Must-Have Skills:
Scripting & Automation: Unix Shell, Bash, PowerShell
Programming: Java, PL/SQL
Databases: Oracle SQL, MySQL
Operating Systems: Unix, Linux, Windows
Environment Management: Installation, connectivity setup, patching, updates
Middleware & Scheduling Tools: Control-M, SFTP, Connect:Direct, IBM MQ
Version Control: Git, Bitbucket, Aldon
Application Server: Basic understanding of WebLogic and VMs
Good-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with AML/Compliance products: NetReveal, Actimize, Ficrosoft Continuity, Tookitaki
Knowledge of AML/KYC, Transaction Monitoring (TM), FMF, and MLS
Banking or financial services experience, preferably in Group Compliance or Risk IT
Exposure to CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube
Basic Python scripting knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in a system analyst or technical support role
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment
