Roy Rosin, Chief Innovation Officer for Penn Medicine, will outline the role and impact of AI and advanced algorithms as teams across Penn pursue high value care models. As payment models evolve, challenges of keeping populations safe in remote sites, knowing about critical developments earlier and efficiently gathering novel insights become higher profile. Cost and staffing constraints also require leveraged methods for managing populations. Rosin will share lessons learned in designing new models incorporating algorithmic care.

While AI and algorithmic care show tremendous potential, it will be critical to understand the needs of multiple key stakeholders for the promise to be realized. In this session, panelists include a payer, clinical leader, life sciences executive, industry expert and a patient who experienced this work at Penn Medicine. These individuals represent the diversity of perspectives that must be considered. They’ll discuss their goals, concerns, and expectations which, if addressed, reveal a path to transforming opportunity into measurable impact needed to support continued investment and/or reimbursement.
