Project Role Description : Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and coordination to ensure seamless migration of applications and data. The engineer works on delivering scalable and efficient cloud solutions that support evolving business needs, collaborating with various stakeholders to align migration strategies with organizational goals. The position demands continuous monitoring and adjustment of migration plans to optimize performance and reliability in both private and public cloud settings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of cloud migration strategies ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall cloud migration capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align migration activities with security, compliance, and operational standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Migration Planning.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices for migration.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline migration processes.
- Knowledge of data migration techniques and tools to ensure data integrity and availability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cloud Migration Planning.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
