Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Systems Integration Lead, ANS
THE WORK:
- You'll act as the client’s owner’s representative, embedded alongside and managing the SaaS vendor (Octave) through the design and build stage – detailed discovery, configuration design, integration configuration and build, test, and data migration for the pilot projects.
- You'll manage the vendor relationship end to end – governing scope, schedule, quality, commercial terms, and product roadmap dependencies, and holding the vendor to the statement of work as a demanding but constructive client.
- You'll review, challenge, and sign off on the vendor’s configuration design and solution architecture to ensure fit with the client’s established capital projects controls practices, standards, and program objectives.
- You'll oversee integration design and build across scheduling (e.g., Primavera P6), finance/ERP (e.g., SAP), and reporting/analytics data feeds (e.g., a data warehouse via API), ensuring cost and schedule data integrate cleanly and consistently across systems.
- You'll hold the vendor to scope, schedule, quality, and acceptance criteria against the statement of work; track, document, and drive issues, risks, and change requests through to resolution, escalating where required.
- You'll govern the data migration approach and validate migrated data for the pilot projects prior to stage-gate acceptance.
- You'll assure the vendor’s test strategy, execution, and results; confirm defined acceptance criteria are met before progressing each stage gate.
- You'll coordinate stakeholder engagement across scheduling, finance, IT and enterprise architecture, and controls leadership, keeping delivery aligned to program priorities.
- You'll develop the implementation and rollout approach for scaling the solution beyond the pilot, including a wave-based rollout structure, sequencing, resourcing, and governance model.
- You'll provide hands-on technical project management across parallel workstreams – planning, sequencing, dependency and interface management, and risk-based delivery control – in a complex, multi-project operating environment.
- You'll lead the client-side implementation team through rollout, managing the transition from vendor-led delivery to owner-led implementation and embedding in-house delivery capability.
- You'll establish and enforce data and controls standards to ensure consistency across projects and systems as the platform scales.
- You'll formulate program controls processes to monitor scope, cost, schedule, contract, risk, quality, and performance across the rolled-out portfolio.
- You'll lead organizational change management (OCM) across a complex operating environment – stakeholder and impact analysis, process redesign, training, communications, and adoption tracking – to embed new ways of working and realize the intended benefits.
- You'll prepare and present progress, risk, and stage-gate reports to program and executive leadership, supporting recommendations and decisions on delivery.
- You'll identify delivery risks and implement mitigation and contingency strategies across both the vendor-led and owner-led phases.
- Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
