Aftermarket Sales Consultant – Dealer & Workshop Development

🚀 Introduction
In today’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape, the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) is a key growth engine. We are looking for an experienced Aftermarket Sales Consultant to strengthen our dealer and workshop network across Belgium.
This is a field-driven role where you will combine analytical thinking with hands-on execution to improve dealer performance, expand customer relationships, and drive the adoption of digital solutions. You will work closely with authorized dealers, independent repairers (IRs), and garage chains to unlock commercial potential and operational excellence.
The client is located in Antwerp region, and on-site presence is required several times a week.
What you’ll do
🚗 Dealer Performance & Development
- Conduct structured on-site visits to assess commercial performance, product portfolio, and sales execution
- Identify opportunities in stock management, pricing, customer service, and digital tool adoption
- Define measurable actions and ensure follow-up
📊 Assessments & Continuous Improvement
- Run dealer audits and performance assessments (scorecards, benchmarks, KPIs)
- Identify strengths, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Build and implement structured improvement plans
🎯 Coaching & Capability Building
- Deliver targeted training on sales processes, product knowledge, and systems
- Support underperforming or newly onboarded partners
- Track progress through structured follow-up and reporting
🤝 Customer Engagement (IRs & Garage Chains)
- Visit independent workshops and garage networks to strengthen partnerships
- Promote parts portfolio and digital ordering platforms
- Provide hands-on support on systems and tools
📈 Commercial Growth Initiatives
- Develop tailored plans for key dealers (segmentation, pricing, process optimization)
- Identify and activate growth opportunities within the IAM network
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation in internal systems

What we’re looking for
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, Automotive, Engineering, or related field preferred)
Experience
- Between 4 and 8 years of experience in automotive aftermarket, B2B sales, network development, or workshop consulting
- Strong understanding of dealer operations and workshop processes
Skills
- Dutch and French alongside English
- Performance analysis and KPI-driven decision-making
- Coaching and stakeholder management
- Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
Bonus points
- Experience managing dealer networks in the BeLux region
- Knowledge of IAM distribution models
- Experience with digital ordering platforms or workshop systems
